I've been eating at Hjh. Maimunah Yishun for quite some time, and the food has always been consistently good. Their lontong is one of my favourites, especially with added tempe. The serving is generous, with all the usual ingredients done just right. I also enjoy their rendang and ayam kalio, and I always pair my dishes with their Padang-style sambal balado. If you enjoy authentic Padang-style cooking catered to local taste buds, this place is highly recommended.

It has been always a disappointing experience, packing the food home. Bought chicken, fish and beef sets. Despite telling the tall Indian staff three times, the Ayam Masak Merah was without gravy, Ikan Pari is without any sauce, and likewise, the Rendang is dry. Similarly, when I ask him to put in more Sambal Tumis, there was nothing inside. Seems like this is a regular issue that nothing has changed so far

My first time visiting this food place & love the delicious food & fast service at Hjh Maimunah Mini. I had the nasi ambeng platter. The food court is clean & had nice ambience.

Hajah Maimunah is one of my preferred spots for authentic Malay food. I had the Ayam Kalio, Sambal Udang, and Sambal Goreng Pengantin, and all three dishes were delicious. The Ayam Kalio was rich and flavourful, while the Sambal Udang had just the right balance of spice and sweetness. The Sambal Goreng Pengantin was well-seasoned and complemented the meal perfectly. The food quality is consistently good, and the portions are reasonable for the price paid. A great place to enjoy comforting, home-style Malay dishes, and I would gladly buy from them again.

Hajah Maimunah never disappoints when it comes to traditional Malay cuisine. Whenever I’m craving authentic Malay dishes, this is one of my go-to places. My favourites are the Lemak Siput Sedut, Sambal Sotong, and Asam Pedas—each dish is consistently flavourful and cooked to perfection. The taste is always on point, with rich and well-balanced flavours that keep me coming back. The portions are generous and offer good value for money. Overall, a satisfying dining experience that is definitely worth the price. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality traditional Malay food.
