It’s my Child Hood meal after school by Scott’s Road. Was excited but the Cleanliness is abit turn off. I’m very Happy with the Food. Yet to try the Dry noodles perhaps I will have it in Bugis. Hopefully it’s better. Thank you for bringing it back and Halal.

We recently visited Hai Ge Ji Beef Balls Noodles for lunch as a group of four. Three of us ordered the beef noodles, while the fourth had the beef noodle soup. On the positive side, the food arrived very quickly, which was a great start and much appreciated during a busy lunch hour. However, we were a little disappointed by the portion of beef served. As shown in the photo, the beef consisted of only a few small slices that could easily fit on a spoon. Considering that we had travelled all the way from the East to try the food and as people who genuinely enjoy supporting local businesses, it felt rather underwhelming. Another issue was that one of our orders was served incorrectly. One of us had specifically ordered his beef noodles with thin noodles, but all of us were given the same thick noodles instead. The gravy was also quite bland for our taste. In fact, one of my colleagues happened to have a small sachet of salt on hand, which ended up being shared among the table to add a little more flavour to our meals. Please take this review in the spirit it is intended: as constructive feedback rather than criticism. We are not here to condemn a local business, but rather to share our honest experience and hopefully help improve what is already a promising concept. We sincerely hope you’ll take this feedback with a pinch of salt (pun fully intended!). We wish Hai Ge Ji all the best and look forward to seeing how the dishes evolve in the future.

The food was authentic to the chinesse version. The beef, tendon, tripes are soft and tender. The soup very umami. Fried fish beancurd was crispy outside and soft and tasty inside. When I came here at 6.45PM 3 staffs are cuddled up inside the counter laughing and horsing around. Please open one in the east area.

came here for the first time to have dinner. it was crowded so I had to wait outside. there's others waiting outside too, but there's no marking on the floor to indicate queue lines, no staff managing the queue. ordered sliced beef + meatballs noodles with soup. the food was so bland, it was quite tasteless, however the meatballs was good though. am I wrong to compare this with thai's beef noodles? since there's Vietnamese, Thai and now its Hainanese. is it a fair comparison? the sides we ordered, spicy chicken and fried beancurd was good too. is it worth travelling all the way from bishan for this? hmm, I doubt so. because travelling here via public transport takes about an hour. just my honest point of view. cheers.

My first time tasting this kind of dish noodle with thick gravy, black and slurpy which goes well with the chilli with pressed lime, dipping it or smearing the chilli onto the noodles while placing all the ingredients into my soup spoon. Ordered an extra serving of beef shank, tender, easy to chew. The tofu fish, can’t remember the name, tasty too with a tinge of sweetness and fresh fried, compliments the noodles when having it together. It’s great to have a taste from our fellow friends, which is halal, had been wondering, how does that taste like? Thank you for serving us this authentic halal version. If you guys are having any trouble looking for the place, it is next to PRIME supermarket, nearest carpark entry.
