I've seen so many posts on social media praising this beef noodle place, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it turned out to be very disappointing. I ordered the dry beef noodles, but the taste was bland and lacked flavour. It felt like a thick sauce with just some black sauce added in. There were plenty of noodles but very little beef and other ingredients. Even the soup tasted plain and had no depth. Now I understand why the place wasn't crowded. It's quite sad when you're looking forward to finding good halal beef noodles, only to be met with such a disappointing experience. Sadly, I don't think I'll be coming back again.

After trying Hai Ge Ji at Yishun, I couldn't stop thinking about how good it was. The food was so memorable that I expected the same quality when I visited the Plaza Singapura outlet. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The taste, quality, and overall standard were nowhere near what I experienced at Yishun. It honestly felt like I was eating at a completely different restaurant. The difference was like night and day. I hope the management pays more attention to maintaining consistent food quality across all outlets. Customers should be able to enjoy the same standard no matter which branch they visit. Sadly, this visit did not meet my expectations at all

I had it for takeaway the first time last week and was recommended to get the sliced beef with beef balls soup with kuey tiao noodles. Everything was good and I really enjoyed my meal. It was a really delicious and comforting bowl of noodle soup. Earlier today, with different staff making my bowl of noodles with the same exact order, it was not the same anymore. The sliced beef was significantly lesser, not even half the quantity I had the first time. I had two bites of the sliced beef and I could not find it in the bowl anymore. Noodles were not cooked well and the soup does not taste as light as the first time. Disappointingly, I could not finish my meal. I hope you will look into it and ensure the quality of taste is not compromised just because it is cooked by different staff members.

Highly recommended! Tender, thin beef slices with a hearty broth. The portion was perfect. The chili was tangy and paired well with everything too. I’d suggest to visit in the morning (brunch) as it’s a lot harder to find seats nearer noon time due to office lunch hour.
