Flappy’s is a place that I generally love and have frequented the CBD location for lunch. Went today and completely disappointed with the chicken portion size. Not even half of what I would have expected.

Not as good as I expected unfortunately chips were underdone, sauce wasn’t nearly as good, gravy on potatoes was weirdly flavored and not edible. Lemonade, plain tenders, and bread were good. This place will have to step its game up next to Camys and burger point

They didn’t want to honour me my 10 percent of the app when THEIR app wasn’t working. Terrible customer service manager didn’t even come to the front just a boy refusing to honour my discount. Would never return here again.

Really impressed with Flappy’s Fried Chicken! 🍗🔥 The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and super juicy on the inside, with great flavour in every bite. Portions were solid, everything tasted fresh, and the service was quick and friendly. We tried a few different items and honestly enjoyed everything. It’s a great spot if you’re craving proper fried chicken done right. Highly recommend Flappy’s to anyone — we’ll definitely be coming back! 👌🍗

Very disappointing experience. I ordered extra chips, but the kitchen forgot to prepare them. Instead of making a fresh portion, the staff took the box back from the cashier and simply transferred some chips from the main box into the “extra chips” box. I was honestly shocked to see this happen. It felt like they were trying to make it look as though I had received extra chips when I actually hadn’t. If I pay for an extra portion, I expect to receive an actual extra portion—not have chips taken from my original serving and repackaged. To owner response I’m not going to go tit for tat over this. I’m simply explaining what I personally observed. First, the kitchen staff gave a clear signal to the cashier to hand the box back. Second, I saw the staff member remain behind the bar/station rather than leave the station to get the additional fries. After some time, the box was returned to the cashier with the cup, and somehow the additional fries had now “magically appeared.” If the additional fries had simply been missed from the original order, there was no reason to take the entire box back, because the additional fries were a separate package/order. Also, I noticed that the fries in the main box were noticeably less than what is normally provided. I’m not making assumptions about what happened behind the scenes. I’m pointing out what I actually saw, and the sequence of events did not make sense from a customer’s perspective.
