The food preparation is extremely slow. The waiting time is usually around 30–40 minutes, and the service is poor as well. If you’re in a hurry or have limited time, I would not recommend buying from here. Be prepared to wait at least 30–40 minutes for your food.

Both are very friendly in their approach, and their attitude towards customers is good! Customers feel comfortable with them. Crave Nasi Lemak has forever held a special place in my heart—and on my plate—as my go-to for the best Nasi Lemak experience. I've enjoyed their culinary delights from their outlets at Simei and Changi City Point, each visit more satisfying than the last. Recently, life has led us to a new chapter in Tampines, and with it, a new favourite rite spot at Our Tampines Hub (OTH). It has become our regular rendezvous, a place where comfort meets culinary excellence. What keeps us coming back? The unwavering consistency of Crave’s standards. Each plate is a symphony of flavours—rich, fragrant, and perfectly balanced. Their Nasi Lemak, in particular, never fails to delight my family and me, always hitting the right notes and never falling short of our expectations. It’s more than just a meal—it’s a trusted tradition that continues to satisfy and surprise us with every visit. I'm a big fan of Basmati rice—especially the kind Crave uses for their Nasi Lemak. My personal classic favourite is the Selar Fish Nasi Lemak, served atop fragrant basmati grains, accompanied by a perfectly cooked egg and crispy ikan bilis—absolutely delightful! Very disappointing experience. I ordered at 11:12am after being told the waiting time would be around 15 minutes, but my food only arrived at 11:53am—a 41-minute wait. Other customers were complaining too, but staff said orders couldn't be cancelled. To make matters worse, I almost finished my drink before my food arrived. The trays were not cleared, there were no tissues available, and the dining area was untidy. The food portion was also disappointing—very few peanuts, a tiny egg, and a very small chicken wing. The portion did not match the price. This isn't my first visit with long waiting times, but today was the worst. I won't be coming back.

The Atmosphere and Service Securing a table on a Sunday afternoon was surprisingly easy, with a few empty seats readily available. However, the service experience quickly took a downturn. Right after ordering, the queue screen revealed a staggering backlog of more than 20 orders ahead of mine. It was obvious the kitchen was entirely overwhelmed by Grab and Foodpanda requests. This heavy focus on delivery orders left the physical patrons severely neglected. The dining area was filled with frustrated customers repeatedly approaching the counter to chase down their delayed meals, which made for a rather chaotic environment. The Food I tried both the Nasi Lemak Royale and the Nasi Lemak with Curry Chicken. After a 20-minute wait, the expectation was at least a fresh, hot meal. Unfortunately, the signature coconut rice was served lukewarm. For a dish that relies so heavily on the warmth and comforting aroma of its rice, this was a major letdown. The Verdict It is disappointing to see a food outlet prioritize delivery apps at the expense of the actual restaurant experience. Between the excessively long wait, the disgruntled crowd, and the lackluster food temperature, the overall visit definitely leaves room for massive improvement.
