Wanted to see what the ex executive chef of White Restaurant had to offer, got served puke. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

I had a very disappointing experience here. I waited an unreasonably long time just to get my takeaway order, and to make things worse, even dine-in customers who arrived before me still hadn’t received their food. What made it worse was that the restaurant wasn’t even crowded — this was around 11am on a public holiday, and there were very few customers. Despite that, everything moved painfully slowly. The lack of urgency from the staff was frustrating — the waiter was standing around without taking initiative, while the kitchen seemed to be working extremely slowly. It appeared that the chef was waiting to batch multiple orders together before cooking, which significantly delayed everything. Overall, the inefficiency and poor coordination completely ruined the experience. Definitely not acceptable, especially if you’re expecting a quick takeaway. Would not recommend unless you have plenty of time to waste.

Came after lunch time no crowds. Good portion was huge can easily shared. Came for the Bee Hoon Seafood, large portions but I personally feel the broth is lacking umami and seasoning. The rice with sweet and sour prawn have laici in it makes it unique. Others salted egg fish was good. Soft shell crab was ok not too oily. Friendly staff.

White bee hoon outside usually costs around $18 — and that’s typically just nice for 2 pax. So we expected the $9.80 one here to be a tiny portion like in their menu photo. But nope — it came big and generous for everything! And it was so savoury and yummy too! The space is a little tight and slightly warm, but the staff were super super friendly. We’re definitely coming back again. 😍

Wholesome spot in the heart of Tampines. Firstly, the customer service by the hijab lady was soooooo superb! Friendly and helpful, she gave out recommendations and we even chit chatted abit after. Very rare to have a server in Singapore of her standards!! We also said hi to the chef who was also friendly :))) and then the food! Good on them for making this outlet HALAL certified and for allowing more people to try the famous white bee hoon. Had a plate to share and it was plenty fr two people. The garlic kailan and soft shell crab was good too. Awesome lunch. They also accept CDC vouchers which is a bonus. Overall, kuddos to the management and staff for a well run spot. Fuss free , good vibes and most importantly, tastes good!!! Will definitely come again soon.
