Been eating encik tan since their opening at tampines hub. Curry chicken drumstick set was my go to. It is very nice back then. The chicken, curry and rice is tasty but the egg. Now the egg is just more to oil and like roasted. Its barely an egg anymore. Back then it wasnt like this. But overall the food is tasty. Hopefully it’ll be back to normal.

Hello Encik Tan, Your shop states that it is open 24 hours at the entrance, but the food service does not seem to reflect that. When we tried ordering the rice sets, your counter staff informed us that they are only available after 10:30. If that is the case, it may be clearer to indicate the actual food serving hours instead of advertising the shop as fully 24 hours. Also, please consider having staff who can communicate in English. Instead of explaining properly, the staff just wrote “10:30” on a piece of paper and pointed it at our faces. Thank you.

bad customer service, the menu is so confusing to read/understand. the indian cashier just stare at us when we ask and didnt bother to clarify our order. the uncle doing the noodle section kept yelling at us and speak so rudely. worse place to come and eat.

ate this for dinner and i was really disappointed with the chicken portion. i understand that inflation is a thing but if you increase the price while maintaining a standard serving of the cutlet, i don't mind paying. it's so horrible and i know i won't patronise this stall again as soon as i saw what i was served...i should have read the reviews before coming but i wanted a quick dinner. always go to the northpoint outlet and the chicken portion is much bigger. it's seriously so small even children can finish it in a few bites. please do something about the SOP cuz i believe it's not the workers fault too - theyre just there to sell. encik tan used to be my number one stall since secondary school. maybe it's just fast sales for the business but it's a memory to me.
