We came here a few years before covid. We have been having a BBQ Japanese type. This round, my family wanted Korean. So we went over. To my surprise, many things have changed. No more pork, place now becoming more squeeze. The service staff are friendly . But somehow, I just feel taste no longer the same as before. Anyway my own opinion 😌.

Tried the one at Tampines outlet, but I must say this outlet serves more variety! The buffet spread and service by the staff were generally much better, too. There is a time limit accorded depending on the number of pax so be sure to check and probably book a table in advance before you swing by.

Here on a weekday to catch up with an old friend. Great atmosphere. Simple food. Not too much. Just nice and focused on korean theme.

There’s wide variety of meats you must try! Especially the volcanic chicken!The japchae and ttokbokki also sedap. It’s definitely worth the price!!! Bring along ur boys for a day out!!

Had the Facebook special. Although the variety of food is not large, it is more than adequate. Drinks such as like, sour plum and fruit punch are included. Service was excellent as they changed the grill when it got used. Also service staff cleared the empty plates and refill the Hotpot. Meat was surprisingly tender and good. Would recommend.

tasted average, loved the mini squid and the staff was very attentive to the tables. my grill was changed 2x without us calling to help, kudos to the muslim staffs👍

We had a very pleasant experience here at this restaurant. Staff were very kind and polite, very observant to see the soup level of the hotpot and help refill. They also managed to clear the plates we did not need anymore, and always served with a smile on their faces. We came here for lunch on a weekday, which isn't too crowded. We managed to have a reservation to get the $48Nett for 3 people promotion. The spread of the buffet was good, from different chicken selections, to hotpot ingredients. The fish is nice and the chicken is well marinated. Fruit Punch, Sour Plum drinks highly recommended. Will come back again.

My niece told me she has tried Captain Kim Korean Buffet so I am next to check it out on a Monday noon. What strikes me most about this restaurant is the attentive and approachable service with warm smiles by the very sweet Malay ladies! This place is well staffed so you can easily asked what are the 3 different sauces when in doubt as I try to avoid spicy food so as to taste the freshness of the food. The must try is the black pepper chicken is fantastic! I had three rounds of this with the very fresh lettuce wrap with white radish, kimchi and spring onions! Messy but fun and interesting way of eating Korean wraps! Just bring your own wet tissues if tissues on the table are not enough for you. If you have a weakness for sweet red juicy watermelon cubes like me, you would certainly be satisfied with mouthful of that, scooped in the thoughtfully selected range of very clean Asian sized bowls, sauce plates and soup bowls provided. What I like most is the freshness of the meat. They have fajita, honey, volcano (spicy!!) and have I just mentioned, black pepper as my top favourite! Seafood as prawns, squids and mussels and Korean chicken wings and beef ribs are available for dinners. The vegetables are so thinly sliced so they get cooked fast and quick to appease hungry diners! Certainly brownie points and extra hard work by the chefs. As for the hotpot, I went for non salty sukiyaki soup and I can easily adjust the sweetness with hot water poured in. They have miso and kimchi choices for soup base too. The weekday buffet here is very good value for money given the fresh veges (pumpkin, brinjals, sweet corns, enoki mushrooms), free flow of non carbonated (best part!) drinks (lime, fruit punch, sour plum, iced water), fries, pancakes, coleslaw, salads, mushroom soup, Korean noodles, white rice, even carbonara, delish and generous protein load! It is a renovated outlet with dark furnishings and endless soft K-pop that is not too loud so it is a pleasant dining experience overall. ✨😉

amazing food with amazing company . the servers are very prompt and observant ; they pick up used plates everytime we are done & they'll reduce the heat of the grill / soup if it's too hot already . they make sure we all have a pleasant experience . not forgetting the bulgogi beef is amazing ; super tender and thinly sliced beef 💯

Throwback on 8 October 2023, we went to Junction 10 @ Bukit Panjang with my friends Abbas, Jie Shun & Darren for big dinner to eat there at Captain’s Kim. Both are my friends looks very delicious and very full of stomach. The dining limit was 120 minutes (2 hours) starts after 5:30pm spent time until they finish before 7:30pm. My friends and I help our self service take any types of ingredients such as wagyu, chicken, fish and others. And also have drinks to help self service. The staff was very friendly to us? Hope to see us again.

Not overcrowded. Had an airy table close to the entrance. Easy to get in and out even for my parents. Unlike Seoul garden, the bulgogi was not over seasoned. Great value for the price.

Although Food choices on lunch time was a bit limited compared to Dinner time (I went here 3x already) however what caught my attention to leave a review was the service. 10/10! I got myself burnt because I accidentally touch the tongs that were on the griller. The service staff (i forgot to get his name but he was at the cashier as well) QUICKLY gave me an ointment for my burnt fingers which I truly appreciated! I work as a service person myself in a 5 star accredited one. So this really caught my attention. These things are really what keeps the business running. Not just good food but GREAT employees who anticipate guests needs and who has a passion for what they’re doing! Thank you very much! I hope he’ll get noticed. Cheers!
