Good place for Korean BBQ, especially for students! 👍 Students get 1-for-1 if you enter before 7pm, which makes it a really good deal. There is a wide variety of food - beef, chicken, seafood and more, but no pork. Besides the BBQ, they also have quite a good selection of ready-cooked food, plus a DIY bibimbap counter where you can mix your own bowl😄. Ventilation is good too. At least we didn’t walk out smelling like BBQ 😂 The staff were hardworking and attentive, regularly coming around to change the hot and heavy grill plate whenever the paper underneath got burnt. Really appreciate their effort! The green panda jelly was just okay. Ice cream is chargeable separately, but the lychee flavour was soooo nice! 🍨 Overall, good variety, good ventilation and especially worth it if you can enjoy the student 1-for-1 deal before 7pm. 👍

We went on wkday at Tamp Junction after seeing their promo on instagram, like 20+ for Dinner buffet. GReat spread of varieties and love all the food sections. Crunchy Korean fried chicken wings, savoury japchae, and chewy tteokbokki to die for. Meat was fresh n juicy. Love the ambience n staffs were friendly. Will come back again

Had a wonderful lunch at Captain Kim, Tampines! They are currently having a great promotion, making the dining experience even more worthwhile. We made a reservation for 8 people by phone, and Selvi was very helpful and friendly in arranging everything for us. The booking process was smooth and pleasant. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options. Considering the quality and selection available, the price is incredibly affordable and offers fantastic value for money. A special mention to Ilakkiya, who provided outstanding service throughout our meal. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of. In fact, all the staff were very attentive, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile. I would also like to express my heartfelt thanks to Selvi for going above and beyond to help us. After we reached home, my nephew realized that he had left his mobile phone in the toilet. The toilet is not part of Captain Kim but belongs to the NTUC building, if I'm not mistaken. My sister called Selvi for assistance, and Alhamdulillah, she managed to locate the phone and kept it safely for us until we could collect it. We truly appreciate her kindness, honesty, and willingness to help even after our meal was over. Overall, we had a great dining experience and would highly recommend Captain Kim at Tampines to anyone looking for good food, great service, and excellent value. Thank you to Selvi, Ilakkiya, and the entire team for making our visit so memorable. We will definitely be back!

I had a really pleasant experience at Captain Kim (Tampines Junction). I’d like to give a special shoutout to the wonderful staff who were incredibly kind and attentive, especially towards families with babies. It was quite hot outside, and they thoughtfully invited us to wait inside, even arranging a seat for us while we waited for our table. That small gesture made a big difference and showed how caring they are. When our table was ready, they offered us a comfortable spot and made sure we felt welcomed. The whole place had such a cozy, homely vibe, and the service truly stood out. Thank you for making our visit so enjoyable — highly recommended!
