The food was great! This was actually the first restaurant I tried when I first visited Singapore. I'm usually not a fan of duck, but theirs was incredibly crispy and delicious, it completely changed my expectations. The tofu omelette was to die for, still thinking about it even now. The staff were also friendly and welcoming. I hoped the space was bigger though. I'll definitely be coming back!

First visit and was blown away. You don't have to travel to Jakarta, Batam or Surabaya to get authentic Indo cuisine. The sambel is enak. The bebek could be a bit juicier to be excellent (a tad dry) but sop buntut was fabulous. Piping hot and generous portion.

I came off peak (slightly before dinner crowd 5++) and no Q and plenty of seating. I ordered their signatures; 1. Bebek goreng (duck) 2. Sup Buntut (oxtail tail soup) 3. Tahu Telur goreng (fried egg with tofu) Verdict: 1. Duck was super skinny hence don’t expect much meat/yield from it. Was a little dry till we mixed a little of the soup we ordered. 2. Oxtail soup was awesome 5 ⭐ for it. Umami is there and only downside is that is wasn’t hot enough (slightly above room temperature). 3. Tahu Telur goreng (personally was a slightly misjudgment on my part) was too oily for my personal liking. Otherwise impartial opinion it is good with lots of Tahu there. Sambal was good but not spicy enough even their signature spicy one. Good side is there is a sambal station where you can refill and try all their diff versions of sambal and customise to your liking. P/S: Would I come back? Yes! This time I’ll switch out the Tahu and try their stir fry kangkung (vege). Table next to us ordered and looks DELISH!!! Overall I highly recommend this place BUT avoid peak hours (meal times) even on weekdays! Unless you’re happy to wait outside till a table comes free ! Enjoy guys !!!

Both the crispy shredded chicken and duck were drier than they were crispy, and the flavours were rather bland. The duck skin on the shredded duck wasn’t fried properly, resulting in unappetising soggy, fatty skin. The best dish was the tauhu telur, which was freshly fried. The egg was fluffy and airy, complemented by a nice accompanying gravy. It’s definitely not as delicious as the Lucky Plaza main branch, although even the standards there have declined over the years.

Tried the viral Indonesian Bebek Goreng Pak Ndut at its newly opened outlet in Sengkang Grand Mall. The Original Crispy Fried Duck was a little on the dry side, while the Crispy Fried Chicken With Green Chilli wasn't as crispy or as tender as I had expected. Overall, it didn't quite live up to the hype for me.
