Love the strawberry matcha and hot chocolate with oat milk. Definitely want to go back and try other flavours like sunrise matcha, matcha chai. The hot chai with oat milk on its own reminded me of chai tea latte than many cafe franchises like Tim Hortons has stopped.

The best tasting creative matcha drink I’ve ever had! Loved the mini brownie that comes along with it and of course it being canned. I also loved the option of being able to adjust sweetness, I ordered one less sweet and it was perfect! Definitely recommend stopping by when visiting Singapore for all matcha and coffee lovers!

Prices at Waterloo Coffee ain’t cheap but I did enjoy my strawberry matcha in a can. Very cute presentation and was honestly shocked by how thick the matcha was - thicker than some other shops ~ love the addition of the mini salted brownie on top too! It’s delicious! 🤤 thanks guys 🙏

This viral home-based business has now evolved into a brick-and-mortar cafe with canned matcha & coffee, gorgeous murals, a cosy seating area, & CDC-friendly, and I’m all here for it. Their spill-proof canned matcha & coffee is freshly sealed on-site, which I love that we can just toss our drinks into our bags, fuss-free. I also really love their seasonal canned cup designs, it keeps things feeling fresh. Tried some of their unique drink creations (+$1 for oat milk). I was rlly excited to try their Iced Chai Matcha ($9.50) because while I love matcha, chai is on a whole other tier of love for me, & this combo felt pretty unique. I liked how both flavours stayed distinct yet well balanced, with the chai spices coming through nicely. Strawberry Cheesecake Matcha ($13.50) was giving strawberry cheesecake, but in drink form. Layers of buttery Biscoff crumble, strawberry compote, vanilla matcha & cheesecake foam — this was gao, addictively sweet & creamy. The matcha gently softens the bright fruity notes of strawberry cheesecake, which I honestly enjoyed. It does get quite filling though, better for sharing the calories on this one !! Hot drinks are available too, and there’s even a complimentary brownie piece per drink if the owners are around !! Drinks are on the pricier side, but the thoughtfulness behind each creation, not just unique but genuinely well executed, makes them worth the occasional splurge. They even have a cosy little nook next door where you can sit and chill while sipping your drinks, which is a big plus for me ～

Stumbled across Waterloo Coffee & Matcha recently and it might be one of the most exciting new coffee spots I’ve found in Singapore. I love that it started as a small home-based window operation and has now grown into a proper little store at Waterloo Centre. Usually don’t like to write long reviews but this place deserves it !! The coolest part is that they seal every drink into a can right in front of you. It’s freshly made and then sealed on the spot, which is such a fun touch. The coffee really surprised me. It actually tastes like proper Australian-style coffee, strong, smooth and well balanced. If you like coffee with real strength and flavour, this place delivers right off the bat! We had to try something from the matcha menu as it was really interesting. The barista mentioned they wanted to create something that feels uniquely Singaporean for people visiting, and the flavours definitely reflect that. Creative, a bit local-inspired, but still really good matcha. The small seating area is a nice place to sit and enjoy your drink instead of just grabbing takeaway. Honestly feels like one of those little places that people are going to start talking about soon. Definitely worth checking out if you’re around Bugis or Bras Basah.
