Today I visited this new store at Serangoon Ave 2. Ordered no. 1 on menu. Photo on the menu shows chicken leg. But was given chicken breast meat instead when the order was ready. The lady at the store said that I have to specify that I want the chicken leg. I said I did point at No. 1 on the menu that shows a photo of chicken leg. The lady replied Chicken has many parts I cannot possibly give you chicken leg all the time. I was surprised and unhappy. The man at the stall replied It depends on your luck if you get chicken breast or chicken leg. Again I was surprised but this time round I was utterly disgusted with their reply. I asked them is this your way of doing business? But there was no reply from them. I said it’s very clear your picture no. 1 on the menu shows chicken leg and that’s what I ordered. Again the man said it depends on my luck. The lady replied it’s like KFC and you might not get the chicken part that you wish for. I was appalled at their responses. I said if my child ordered takeaway and points to number 1 on the menu which was a chicken leg and he got breast meat he would not know till he reaches home. Only the parents will know. The lady staff said I had to teach my son to say request for chicken leg Ayam penyet. Again I was surprised by the staff’s response. I wish it could have been recorded on video with audio. I had been an avid and loyal customer of Uncle Penyet for many many years but this is the first time I am faced with staff with such poor service attitude. Pls be extra careful when ordering your food and pls state chicken leg clearly to their staff at this outlet. At the end I ordered an extra Ayam Penyet specifying I only wanted chicken leg. None of the service staff apologised and I said I would prefer if they could inform me if they were giving me chicken breast or at least it should be shown on their menu. But their menu clearly shows no. 1 as chicken leg. After this experience, it has taught me to be more vigilant and alert in future when ordering my food from Uncle Penyet. Seriously I find this a joke. Dear Senior Management of Uncle Penyet pls kindly review your menu and staff’s customer service standards. Nevertheless I love the Uncle Penyet menu and I will still patronise your stalls for serving good and delicious food. Just that both of your staff should have been more responsible. Thank you.

Served by the affable Jia Yi, I'm very very happy with the meal! The chicken was ASMR crispy on the outside and tender on the inside! Would 11/10 recommend to anyone looking for a legit hearty Ayam Penyet meal!👌

Was pretty hungry after work, needed some carbs and proteins, saw this smashed chicken, had to give it a try… paid and was given the beeper.. 15mins later collected the food.. fried chicken is hot and juicy. Rice is fluffy and I asked them to drizzled with some curry gravy.. overall a good satisfying meal. I’ll be back next time to try the curry chicken with rice.

Chicken is crispy and acceptable. Fish is not as crispy as capeview.

Went in today at about 1:50pm. Ordered Nasi Lemak Chicken Wing. I noticed the cucumber is missing when I compared with the picture, and informed the staff. The staff then took out the cucumber from the fridge and just put onto my plate. When I try to eat, it was ice cold. Decided not to eat the cucumber instead. The rest are average.

Atmosphere, normal coffeeshop Service: friendly seller Food: only tried chicken dishes and tbh, the chicken tastes lousy. Cooking method is fine. Just like the meat tastes so like frozen chicken. Probably not defrosted properly. It just doesnt have the fresh taste and the gravy couldn't cover up that scent. I miss the stall before this one
