This was my 3rd visit to Tim Hortons on Saturday, May, Saturday.
Having had pleasant experiences at PWP and T3 branch, this visit was unfortunately a step down... not in food quality, but in customer service.
On the food front, i ordered the Hojicha oat milk frap, Belgian chocolate frap, Maple donut, Salted maple donut, and Montreal pastrami melt — all pleasant, no complaints there.
The concern is with the service. There were 3 staff on shift. Two of them, though quiet, were at least pleasant enough to smile and say thank you.
The 3rd, a staff member named Ain, could be observed calling out names with a visible frown, placing trays/plates down with unnecessary force, and sighing audibly at the cashier. Having worked in F&B myself, I fully understand how demanding operations can be — but customer-facing work requires a baseline of warmth, and that was notably absent here.
On the topic of uncollected trays — isn’t a store walkthrough every 30-60 minutes a basic operational standard? Clearing trays takes less than 5 minutes, especially at the footfall observed during this visit. Maybe it was just a one-off, and the benefit of the doubt is there but it’s worth flagging.
2 other suggestions: keeping pastry doors shut to prevent pests (increasingly an issue across F&B establishments) and ensuring food displays remain protected from open air.
This outlet honestly has so much going for it. Like great location, solid footfall, good product. It has real potential to be a go-to spot. Hoping management takes this as constructive feedback, because with a bit of service training and attitude coaching, this place could really shine.
