Had a great time with my girl friends brunch-ing! I'm super impressed by their friendly staff and lovely ambience! Keep up the positive vibes and service attitude! We enjoyed the affordable n quality coffee and also the ice cream with chicken skin too ! Something special ❣️

Brunch with the SK kakis at the newly opened Tenderbest Makcik Tuckshop at Sengkang Riverside Park. YAY! Finally, one beautiful cafe in Sengkang with both in and outdoor dining. Must try their fried chicken! Good coffee at reasonable price too! Friendly staff and lovely ambience! Even the outdoor dining area was thoughtfully decorated with mozzie repellant plants! Totally impressed by it! Alight either at Farmway LRT or Kupang LRT. I felt that the latter is nearer.

So happy that this is opened here. Great value - esp the coffee. The barista today at lunch (an Indian man) made a fantastic flat white and I really appreciate it. Wonderful environment.

Tucked in a corner of Sengkang Riverside Park. This place has both alfresco dining as well as air conditioned dining areas. On a weekend dinner time, expect a crowd building up from as early as 5.30. The many other reviews that raved about the fried chicken here doesn't do justice to the wide range of other menu items. The onion blossom and cheesy fried mushrooms are side dishes worth trying. The snapper and crispy skin chicken chop are decent too.

Chicken cutlet is way too dry and disappointingly didn't make the cut. Fries is served cheap thin style and served cold. Trio cheese stick so so. Also cold. Cheesy fried county mushrooms done fresh and nice and moist. Chicken mushroom pesto is okay. I expect them to do better with the chicken cutlet given that they are well known for their fried chicken. Ambience is the only good reason. I would try their fried chicken pieces next time. Otherwise avoid the chicken cutlet at all cost. Any other kopitiam or coffee shop chicken cutlets can win this one hands down. Super disappointed.

The food variety was good and the food tastes good! The seafood marinara pasta was surpringly delicious. The truffle mushroom pizza was yummy and the caesar salad with dried seaweed too! There were varying reviews about the fried spring chicken though. But still a must try!

🍗 Food & Taste: Came here for the fried chicken and I’ll say honestly, while the portion sizes are huge, the taste isn’t outstanding. Fried chicken is the best dish among what we ordered. Pasta is very average. 📍 Place: The place is not very convenient because it is located along the LRT line. Would not recommend travelling here just for food since they have other similar outlets across Singapore. 🤵🏻 Service: so-so. 💰 Price: Value for money 🐣Waiting Time: Reasonable.

The food is ok…I did enjoy the onion blossom and truffle mushroom pizza. Especially since the pizza is thin crust, and tasted more like garlic bread, so I quite like it. The fried chicken and potato salad is not bad also. The rest of the food is pretty average. The fries with meat sauce is quite bad…feels like they threw in raw fries and just baked it with the meat sauce and egg, so it’s kind of a congealed mess. The pasta looks pretty value for money though…we didn’t order it this time, but I’ll try that if we return Edit: went back to try the pasta…not bad…the flavors are very Singaporean fusion though. Even the aglio olio taste a bit like maggi goreng

The restaurant is by the park and the exterior is well decorated with lightings and fans. If you prefer air-conditioned, sitting inside is as cosy with full glass window looking out to the park. I must say I really like the fried chicken here, it is more accustomed to the local's taste where the batter is thin and the chicken is nicely seasoned. Other side's are nice too and the staffs here are friendly. It's a pleasant experience dining here. :)

Nice eating place by the park. Air conditioned indoor seating and al fresco outdoor (sheltered with big fan) seating as well. Preferred the outdoor seating due to quieter surrounding and nice cool breeze even in the mid day afternoon sun. Food is decent and mostly self service. But went there mainly for the greenery vibe and quiet surrounding. Take a short stroll after meal if the weather permits too. It’s quite near the bridge over the river, nice views and nature.

I’m rating service at 3 stars because it is a self-service restaurant ya😅 Other than that, I think most of the foods and drinks are up to people’s standards in general. I have been here a few times, and each visits I ordered different types of food, and I think it is fair enough to give them a 5 star ratings because no matter what I order, the quality of the foods are not disappointing, and I like the atmosphere a lot. How I wish they are nearby a golf course Haha! The design of the restaurant, atmosphere, and foods are great! I love it. They have aircon and outdoor seats! 🩷

Their pastas, pizzas and grills are always a safe choice. Soups generally leave much to be desired but not horrific. Come here for comfort fusion food, not a gourmet experience. This location is one of my favourite Tuckshop outlets for the ambience.

Came here for a late lunch. + Tried the Crispy Skin Chicken Chop Aglio Olio. Fusion style base for the olio spaghetti, unique yet tasty. Tenderbest is know for their fried chicken and the chicken chop did not disappoint. Very crispy and juicy. Ordered the Bullet pepper sauce as accompaniment. + Nicely done up deco, Insta friendly. Comfortable location right beside a park, very relaxed ambience. Even has a resident rooster. + Free parking. Not a car park with many lots but sufficient. - Chicken chop had a slight gamey taste.

Really serene and tranquil atmosphere, we especially like the outdoor area which was nestled among the greenery. Food portions were generous and pretty good, prices were a tad reasonable as well. Great choice of western food, drinks and dessert. Service was not too bad but mostly self service, tho the staff around were quick to help out when needed.

Have to be early if you want to dine here as they do not take reservations. Got there at before 6pm on Sunday and had to wait 30min before a table is available. Despite the long wait, food was ready within 15min of ordering. Everything there is self service,so just walk over to the collection counter. Price is acceptable, food quality and portion is good too. As the restaurant is halal and under the branding of tenderbest, plenty of chicken items on the menu. The ambience of the place is not bad, located within the park.
