Prata Mohamed Javed Indian Muslim Food 📍 473 Fernvale St, Singapore 790473 🍜 Food wise: Great prata! Slightly Crispy, nice, and hot, it was fluffy and not oily! They gave two types of curry, mutton, and fish, the fish curry was slightly more light but was more fragrant, while the mutton was thicker, and got the best of both worlds! Will be back for more! ✨ Ambience wise: Coffeeshop! 🤵🏻 Service wise: Great! 💵 Price wise: Kosong: $1.20 Egg: $1.80

One of the best and value-for-money pratas I ever had. A bit of crispiness and more of cushyness. Freshly made on the spot so do expect queues at times but presence of the buzzer system helps a lot. When the queue is long, the cashier is helpful to inform me that there is an expected wait time of 30mins so thumbs-up to that too. (And he keeps to his timing well). Can pay by FavePay so can get some rebates and then minimise dealing with cash too. Finally, the choice of fish or mutton curry is nice and for the past 2 instances i ordered, there were bits of mutton meat in my curry. $4.30 for 1 egg prata, 1 banana prata and mutton curry. What a great start to a morning! Thank you Mohamed Javed! All the best to you! For those who would like to come by, prata timing is from 730am to 1pm and 430pm to 930pm. Sorry if photos were not as well taken 😬

Decided to come here as I heard about its very crispy prata. Had to wait 20mins for my food on a weekday 9.15am. Could see many other groups waiting as well Got a little greedy and ordered 2 kosong and 1 egg prata. The egg one was very normal and nothing really stands out. The kosong was a little crispier and fluffier, but not one that I would have expected with such a queue and where the prata would be served directly off the pan. My neighbourhood prata shop which has no accolades could serve it even crispier at times! So there wasn't really anything too compelling for me to recommend here. It was just above average for me, something which you can get at any decent prata stall serving their pratas hot off the pan.

Came here for lunch under the recommendation of a friend who raved about their indian rojak. It was indeed tasty and sauce was thick enough! I had the cheese and egg pratas and they were cooked fresh, tasty, and the accompanying fish curry was yummy. My friends who had the chicken briyani and maggi liked their dishes as well, but mentioned the maggi goreng was on the saltier side. Overall, competent indian muslim eatery at the SK area.

The bee hoon goreng and mee goreng are usually quite good but just lacks a bit of seasoning today. I do find the quality of the roti prata very consistent though. Crispy and not too oily at all. I always smother mine in the thick curry gravy.

I visited on a Sunday morning, and while there was a bit of a wait, it was manageable. The menu had many types of roti prata to choose from, but I decided to go with the egg onion roti prata. I must say, it was worth the wait and the choice. The roti prata was delightfully crispy, and the accompanying gravy was delicious. I'm definitely planning to return and give the coin prata a try next time. Overall, I was quite impressed with the quality of the food.

Very nice Prata ! Enjoyed the Prata , gravy , and service . Get a beeper after placing order , no need to stand in queue. Recommended!

This Indian Muslim stall in a quiet food court might look ordinary, but never belittle it! Waiting time can be 45 mins - 1 hour long! Why? Because in our opinion, this shop makes one of the best pratas in the area, and even better than the ones at Jalan Kayu! Why is that so? The roti prata is crispy on the outside, but not to the extent that it feels like biting into a biscuit (this is not too good). Yet, the inners of the prata is soft and fluffy. So, it's a good balance of crispiness and fluffiness which makes it that palatable. Also, the curry is spicy, really adding the kick to the prata. Just be prepared to wait for 45 mins - 1 hour for your tasty prata!

Best prata in Sengkang. We went for dinner on a weeknight and ordered prata, mee goreng and Indian rojak. Haven't been here for a while but the prata and curry still taste as good. Indian rojak gravy was thick and flavorful as well. Better than jalan kayu. Friendly seller as well. There wasn't much crowd when we went but be prepared to wait on weekends as this stall is popular. Try their coin prata as well. It's shiok.

Came here for the pratas, not disappointed. I had takeaway for breakfast so it was less crispy when I ate them. Plain and egg were ok, still soft and fluffy inside. The egg onion prata was great, nice contrast and crunchy to the soft dough. Mixed with the 2 different curries given, nice little explosion of flavors. Overall can eat, recommended to come earlier to avoid the long queue and crowds.

Came down upon recommendation by a fellow mummy in my gc. Am not disappointed. The fragrance from the cheese egg prata hits you like a truck. (I went back for a second order mind you!) Curry is fantastic, not too spicy not too overpowering. Thick enough to drizzle on or slap without any spillage. 5stars!

Tried the Mee Goreng, with extra noodles (tambah mee), and sunny side up egg for weekday lunch around 1230pm. Total is $7. Pros: + Very falvorful Mee Goreng, can rival those in Beach Rd and Upper Boon Keng Market. Very little alkaline taste for the yellow noodles. Also note, the paste used to cook the noodles is spicy, adds to the ooomph nonetheless. + Yellow noodle portion is generous, even with the extra noodle request. + Good serving of diced mutton in the mee goreng, not stingy. + Fast turnaround for a lunch crowd. Got the dish within 5-7 mins. Con: - Sunny side up egg was undercooked.

The Prata is slightly better than other stalls in this area. If you happen to be nearby, it's worth a try. However, I wouldn't recommend traveling a long distance for it, as you might be disappointed. If you enjoy sweet dishes, definitely try the coin prata—it's crispy and sweet. Unfortunately, the plate I was served on looked a bit scary.

One of the Best Prata in Sengkang. This is how a nice Prata should be. Nice dough, Properly flipped, nicely fried to golden brown on the outer layers, soft & fluffy on the inside, Not oily, nice savoury curry gravy for you to dip before placing the wonderful Prata into your mouth! Note their Prata timing is from 7.30am to 1pm, break, then 4.30pm to 9.30pm. I waited for about 10minutes. I checked my photos. The time I ordered this morning was 8.48am. The electronic buzzer sounded off at 8.58am. Shorter queue during weekdays. Their weekends queue will be longer 👍🙏. But glad they have this buzzer thingy, else got to stand and wait. Btw, their Coin Prata also really good, my sons loved them. And their Mutton Bryiani too, one of my favourite.
