Great new bakery in the Marine Terrace neighbourhood! They have really wide varieties of bakery, many of which nearby shops don't offer. I'm personally excited about their mini croissants - very nice, good buy. They also have mini cakes at reasonable price - would like to try some of those later.

great value for money, though recently they raised prices on most of their breads/pastries because chicken shortage and rising electricity prices, i guess. notably they sell one of the cheapest "pizzas" in town!(cheaper than even Little Caesars!) only 4 SG dollars, as of Sept 2022!!! well, not really. they don't actually taste like pizza but they're almost the size of a "regular"-sized pizza from Pizza Hut and taste good enough. it's more like bread with some cheese and mayo on top.some of them are also topped with sweet chilli sauce or BBQ sauce depending on flavour. their Nonya Chicken pizza have a pretty unique taste; like curry pizza but more mild. their panda cakes are also really good.

I buy from them approximately once every 2 weeks. They enjoy brisk business as compared to the other bakeries in the area. I was really put off by the very rude cashier last night. I bought their “3 pieces for $4.50” assorted breads (promo price). This promo was confirmed by the staff sorting out the breads at the display table. When I was paying, the cashier informed me that it’s 4 pieces for $4.50. I was afraid that I heard wrongly and asked again. She was very rude & told me in a sarcastic manner that I should trust her. I was just being honest, and was afraid she made a mistake. There was a long queue last night, that probably explained her super impatient behaviour. That’s really not the way to treat customers though. I can always take my biz to the other bakeries in the area.

So i recently discovered that swee heng has really gd heartlander waffles. U know they take pride in it when they hand it over to u horizontally, so that the sauce doesn’t drip out into the bag and make a mess when u eat. The proper way to eat it is also to hold the waffle horizontally when biting. U wanna make sure to savor all the zhup inside. So i’ve tried 2 of the other outlets. All the waffles are crispy and fillings are also generous. Qc sb gao lat. No need to go waffles hunting alr. Just head down to any swee heng branch which is available in most heartland areas.

Shop is bright and lots of varieties to choose. I bought a packet (4pcs) of Salty Green Bean Bun. The texture of the fillings is smooth and 'creamy' but the taste of it is too sweet. Supposed to have salty taste, but overwhelmingly sweet. Disappointed. 😟

Today was my third time buying waffles, but once again, I encountered rude behavior from a staff member (the one without glasses). How can it be all three times she replied me in a very sarcastic and rude manner. Today I was polite when asking for a waffle, but there was no need for her to raise her voice and being rude. I understand it was busy, but her attitude needs to change. I won't be coming back for a fourth time.
