Honestly, one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a while. The food was just decent, nothing worth going out of your way for, but the staff attitude was absolutely unacceptable. The counter staff and the staff walking around were incredibly rude and acted like customers were a nuisance for simply being there. On top of that, they added mineral water to my bill that I NEVER ordered, and somehow still managed to miss my prata order. Asked for a refund on the mineral water and staff replied ‘take the water ah’ So I was charged for something I didn’t ask for while not receiving something I actually ordered. Brilliant service. If you’re going to charge customers for things they didn’t order and forget the things they did order, the least you can do is have some basic courtesy. Unfortunately, the staff seemed to have forgotten that too. Decent food can only get you so far. With service this rude and careless, I definitely won’t be coming back. There are plenty of places where you can get better food without being treated like an inconvenience

Food: The pratas were cold because they weren't served immediately after cooking and were left out for an unknown reason. They were hard to chew, likely because they were cold (or not made well). The curry was okay. Service: lousy and slow. Pratas were already cooked but not prepared for us to collect. Waited for a while, went to enquire, and then was provided with the pratas. He took the pratas from the stack of cooked pratas. Atmosphere: seated outside is nice with the view, but seats are dirty.

The taste has not changed since I last ate their food old outlets. If you're looking for refined biryani that's made for folks who like non spicy, and/or want the sanitized version of biryani with western influences, then this is not the place for you. Seen some reviews trashing the food and place, look, there are two versions of indian foods, one is the western non spicy clean versions you are exposed to, then there is the dirty, one pot street food version that many love and adore, so eating here really depends on your tastes and should not use your tongue to gauge the quality of food. To me, the taste has remained the same even after all these years of having eaten at their other establishments. Glad they exist and give some leeway to appreciate the effort it takes to cook and serve food.

Dear My Briyani House owner, I have been your loyal customer here for more than 10years and I’m here tonight with my son again. I extremely disappointed with your Malay lady(with tudung) attitude and rejected my order. She seems like don’t want to do my business. Please see the receipt as I attached the date and time, you will know who is the Malay lady in charge on 22 Mar 2026, 8pm. Here’s the incident:- I went in to the cashier and the Malay senior lady told me counter closed for 15minutes. Asked me come back later. I’m like whats wrong counter closed in fact shop was flooded with customers now. Fine, I walked away and went back again to place order. When I order for roti tissue and the same lady told me “Today don’t have roti tissue”. I asked her “ You mean TODAY don’t have roti tissue? She replied “Yes sayang, today don’t have! If have, I will make for you!” Then, I asked her why I can see many customer’s table have and in front of me there was a customer just walk away with roti tissue from the kitchen. Then she paused and said kitchen busy, you come back after 15minutes to order. I was very disappointed because this was my son’s favorite, what he going to eat if don’t have roti tissue? Considering the queue behind me, without argue more with her, I paid for the bill and walked to kitchen to collect my prata, tosai and teh tarik. I asked kitchen chef if they still making roti tissue and they said yes, why not. I told them your cashier said cannot order anymore and must wait 15minutes later go back to queue and order. At the same time, another customer just came and collected roti tissue again. The chef also puzzled why the Malay lady rejected my order. I went back to order but the lady was not there, only the other guy. I told him that I’m so disappointed with the service of the lady. I’m your regular customer and I never ever encounter any problem at your shop. The way I treated by the lady was extremely disappointed and puzzled. I don’t understand why she did that to me, rejected my order for 2 times and make me queue for 3 times to order the items I wanted. I willing to queue 3 times because of my son craving for roti tissue, otherwise I will not order and will just leave your shop. I hope my highlight here can create your awareness and investigate the bad service and bad attitude being served to your customer. Wish you all the best!
