came to Swee Heng 1989 at Whitesands around 9:37 PM, and was told that the shop was already closed, even though the listed closing time is 10 PM. There was also still bread available in the shop.understand that staff may need time to close up, but if the shop is going to stop serving customers earlier than the stated closing time, it would be good to update the operating hours so customers won’t make the trip for nothing. Hopefully this can be improved, as I was quite disappointed with the experience.

Lady staff with short hair is super pushy and could definitely improve with better customer service. I took three cheesy twist buns. The sign states 1 for $2.20; 3 for $6. When about to pay she told me got offer u buy 4 get 1 free. I said it's ok i'll just get 3 and she said then no offer lor, it'll be $6.60. I replied "but the sign u put up states 3 for $6." And she said in a harsher tone "now got offer buy 4 get 1. If u don't take 4 no offer lor." And even went to key into the cashier system to show me 4 will be $8.80 and i'll get 1 free. But i didn't want 5 breads so don't keep asking me to get 5. And if the sign states 3 for $6, pls honour it. In the end, I didn't buy the buns. Will not come again.

Bought 2 pieces of pastries and after a while I heard the staff at the cashier counter telling her other colleague to put up the promotion poster ( buy 4 get 1 free) I asked the staff what time does the promotion starts daily and she told me it was up to the Manager’s discretion and not in a very polite tone. Is she, the staff at the counter, the Manager ?
