Honestly wasn't expecting Swee Heng to have innovated to this extent, given how traditional a name they're known to be. Now that they're offering random creative flavoured buns, that places them against the likes of Breadtalk, from a comparison and benchmarking standpoint. Sadly though, the buns are still not up to mark, for the price that they're selling them for. It's not bad, but it's not great either. If you're looking for a tea time snack, this works. But if you're pitting them against the more professional bakery brands, there's still a huge margin of improvement; especially since they're located in a (presumably) high-rental space.

Went there twice for waffles, however, was told that there's no waffles. For the first, quite understandable since it's nearing to their closing. However, the 2nd time, it was only 9pm and there was no waffles.

Bought the pandan kaya cake twice from Somerset outlet. The date has not expired but the cake was sour. I noticed that the top of the chiller is not covered.

Bought the milky bun loaf. Bread was airy and soft with not much filling. Given the price ($3) and the availability of other bread stores in the vicinity (with comparable prices and better quality), I would not repurchase. Service was also a tad slow.

This morning before work,my usual routine is to buy breakfast at Swee Heng 313.All these while I have always felt that, not all,but some staffs there are rather very unfriendly and unapproachable.But because I love Swee Heng's breads and buns,I still patronize no matter how bad the customer service is.But this morning experience was disappointing to me.I was queueing to make payment and as I was rushing for work,I had to call out in order for me to make payment. I was hearing a few ppl talking at the back room(kitchen maybe) and one of them, with a very unhappy look,came to the cashier.No apologies,no greetings,its alright but all I could see is her unhappiness and rudeness while serving her customer.Her unfriendliness just ruin my day which was just about to start.I really think Swee Heng needs to educate your staff on the importance of a good customer service.If she hates what she is doing,why bother to come to work,showing attitude towards paying customers?Eventho you are just selling breads,cakes, pastries but customer services is still fundamental.Buck up on your services Swee Heng 313!

Terrible staff in this store,I bought a waffle, waiting for 2time 13minutes,the staff make 2 time waffle, Burn 2 TIME,and she keep do another thing,Worst service in 313 outlet,this staff name jiayu.so simple waffle can burn 2time,throw and no explain to me .

bought a bread here (swee heng san-wich) on monday 8 Jan morning and ended up with food poisoning that very night. vomitted for days..! do not recommend getting your breakfast here.. food not clean and staff seen touching the bread and closing the lids bare hands without gloves!

My favourite pandan waffle place. Always the perfect level of crispy and they are generous with the filling (my fav combo is chocolate and peanut butter!)

I recently made a purchase of waffle in the morning at the 313 Somerset outlet.. Unfortunately, I encountered an unpleasant experience due to the rude and unfriendly behavior of a aunty working there. Such behavior can negatively impact customer satisfaction and potentially drive away business.

I am very disappointed with the service today. The array of options was quite appealing, and one particular tub caught my attention. Curious, I inquired whether it’s KitKat, aiming to gather information before making my final choice. Regrettably, the response from the staff member was unexpectedly abrupt and unfriendly. Rather than simply answering my question, the individual raised their voice and retorted with a frown, 'SO YOU WANT KIT KAT DON'T WANT BISCOFF IS IT?' This interaction was disappointing and detracted from the overall experience, as I felt my simple question was met with unnecessary hostility. I believe that customer inquiries deserve to be addressed with courtesy and professionalism, standards that were not met during my visit.
