The food standard at Sukiya is always pretty good! An affordable food option in the airport~ Service could be improved slightly though for this outlet as our orders were served incorrectly, and also placed slightly off (but the latter is also our bad too, should have checked the receipt)!

May 2026 - You obviously need more staff during the day. They send our food to the wrong table. Other customer have to send our food to our table! That is bad! Dec 2025 - The food tastes great! This is a new branch for Sukiya and it's located at Changi Airport Terminal 2 public area. The ambience is good. The staff are friendly and helpful. Recommended!

Sukiya at T2 is in a very prominent spot in the Departure Hall that is impossible to miss. While the menu offers a wide variety, the food didn't quite live up to my expectations compared to what I've had in Japan. Unfortunately, the service was also disappointing; the staff seemed unfriendly and simply passed the tray over with a blank expression—no 'thank you' was given, even after I sincerely thanked her. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one. Colossians 4:6

Chanced upon this while shopping at airport. Saw some kiosks and ‘automatically’ queued to order. Upon sitting down and waiting for ard 5 mins, I suddenly noticed my receipt showed ‘takeaway’ and quickly went to the counter to inform abt the mistake. Staff then explained that those kiosks outside are for takeaway and for dine in, just scan the code on the table. The diners at the next table realised what happened and also approached the counter, apologising for the same mistake. When I checked the kiosk again, I realised there was really a sign that showed ‘takeaway only’. My fault for not noticing. But perhaps to make it even clearer, the Mgt can consider doing a message on the screen itself before customers select the menu. Foodwise, I chose the low carb chicken. Was quite nice. Light on the palate but filling.
