It is a small outlet with only 5 tables. You need to come early if you having lunch to avoid disappointment 😞. The double cheese chicken sandwich (special menu) was not fantastic, as the cheese was overpowering and watery. After awhile, it becomes jelat. It would be better to stick to the usuals like cold cut trio. it's still a good place to have a meal as service and food are good.

There are a few elderly folks behind the counter which may result in slightly slower service so do be patient. Overall, I can sense that staff can get a little impatient, although once again, who can blame them if there is a long queue or if people take way too long to decide what they want? New staff may even be unsure about certain items. For me, most of the time I arrive to the place before the lunch crowd, and food is generally good so I have no complaints. The $6.50 meal is also great value for money.

Despite the poor reviews, I still went to this Subway branch today (28Jun). I was greeted by a polite n perky lady called Kate. I ordered two sandwiches, wished her a good day n left. A short while later, I went back to the branch n asked for her name. She proudly told me her name and showed me her name tag. I told her it was to give her a good review. She thanked me for it, hoped I wld patronise the branch again n wished me well. Wonderful lady!

Lousy portions compared to normal subway. Rude service when asking for more portions of veggie for my VEGGIE DELITE, sad to say there’s not enough veggies and no delight. Service staff rudely asked me to wait when I repeatedly asked for more veggies, and did not act upon my request. Drinks station had no carbonation and the coke I had was flat - was made to top $1 for another drink for their mistake, and the new drink did not even come with ice. Don’t bother - visit the Subway at Toa Payoh central instead. Service is reasonably better there. Poor service recovery, poor attitudes, poor music.

Waiting time was terribly long. More than 10 minutes wait time as there were only 2 workers. I also had to repeat my order several times. Previous times I visited had a more acceptable wait time. For some reason, this outlet is always out of chopped carrots😮💨 I've visited at least 5x since their opening and never once seen my carrots available!

On August 29th, around 6pm, I visited the outlet and ordered a footlong BLT sandwich. I appreciated the service staff's confirmation of my BLT order. However, upon returning home, I was disappointed to discover that the sandwich contained only one piece of bacon and lacked the other meats typically found in a BLT. I kindly request Subway to look into this incident and take measures to prevent its recurrence.

Nice to have a outlet just at the housing estate at Lorong 1 Toa Payoh. Still loved their cold cut trio with cookies and drinks.

Great dining experience. The service staff who served at the counter were friendly and they serve as if they are not employees who are paid to do the job but as if they are owners. I was eating and I could hear them laugh with their customers or treat them in a v friendly manner. Great job!! Amy and Rina were serving today. Pls affirm them.

I've attached a video in my review. In that video a staff member could be seen. I've given this place 1 star because of the service from that particular staff which makes me question the training and SOP. I ordered a subway melt footlong and I added bacon and cheese. You might think it's a simple task but this staff managed to complicate things. Firstly, when I ordered extra shredded cheese, this staff picked up the cheese using his hands, he was wearing gloves, and spread it over my sandwich. The portion of cheese he gave me was extremely little. Correct me if I'm wrong but don't subway outlets use a scoop for the shredded cheese to standardize things? Apparently when I mentioned the scoop, the staff looked extremely shocked. Next when I added bacon, the staff added one strip of bacon right small in the middle of the footlong sandwich. As I looked at him, and he looked at me, I questioned his job related skills. Then he asked me if just one slice of bacon is enough. Now again, correct me if I'm wrong but if someone orders a footlong and decides to add bacon, common sense dictates that it would apply to the entire footlong sandwich or just one side of it as per customer request. This staff took it a step further and placed that one slice of bacon right smack in the middle of my sandwich. I also noticed this across multiple subway outlets but nowadays it seems like they don't toast the sandwich as long compared to last time and my sandwich was still cold. After experiencing this service, I wouldn't return here again.

I am a regular here. The service has improved and more friendly. today the staffs are willing to cut into 3 parts for foot long and gave additional corn and remove 3 items when I requested. Keep up the good work.

Subway is my all time favourite and I am glad to see them open in neighbourhood area where I live. Staff here very friendly. Today I met Amy whom extremely friendly and helpful. Her smile brighten my day. Good breakfast and service definitely make my days good!

New Subway outlet in the neighbourhood! Happy to see one of my comfort food in the area, finally Subway sandwiches available within walking distance. We ordered our classic cold cut trio, the staff could be more generous with the veg as what was given such as olives and pickles were lesser than other outlets. The meatball and mushroom soup is as tasty as ever! We tried the bandung cookie, it was a little sweet but bandung flavour was there, worth a try. One will never go wrong with some double chocolate cookie. Will be back for Subway again.
