Complete mess, disorganised and not proactive. Ordered and made payment at counter, served by a manager at 1518hours. Left mcdonalds at around 1554 or 1556hours. Yes, not an hour waiting time yet, but this is not about the long waiting time but it’s about pro activeness and the service rendered by the staffs. Waited and at 1535 i decided to ask one more indian lady manager as to why the queue number is not moving as “per normal”. Was told that they are conducting an “internal audit” . As a customer POV… “okay so..????” Does it mean that it can allow them to slow down the usual process and we paying customers have to know what’s going on back-end? A few managers were seem to be standing around outside the collection counter and can’t they noticed that the crowd is getting busier because people are waiting longer for the food to arrive? Asked the 2nd time, this time to a lady in yellow/grey vest. Was told that they have no fries at the moment and will replace with corn. So, if the fries is not available why didnt the manager who took my payment inform in the first place?? Again at 1550hrs I approach the staff at collection counter as to where my order is, was then told that they had no hamburgers, no apple pie, no fries. What is going on??? Customer service have to buck up, especially the managers and not just stood there to wait for the “internal audit” to be over and not minding what’s going on.Many customers started to come in and question why is the order taking longer than usual and they did not seem to react promptly. Been staying in toa payoh lorong 1 my entire life, and I noticed the customer service is going down in this outlet. You don’t need to be in “customer’s shoes” just have some basic form of urgency or more aware of what’s going rather than waiting for complaints and then take actions..

Waited for 30 minutes and my mobile order is still not out. Chaotic environment during dinner time. A lot of shouting and machine alarms blaring off but no food serving out. Queue remains super long and many errors in orders overheard. Filipino manager not in control of the situation. Avoid this outlet at all cost!

Avoid this outlet if you value your time. My experience this morning at McDonald's Toa Payoh Lorong 1 was a complete disaster. • Timeline of Chaos: I ordered takeaway at 11:33 AM. At 11:45 AM, I was told it was "still preparing." By 11:55 AM, the staff admitted they had lost my order and needed to see my phone to verify what I bought. • Out of Stock: They then informed me they were out of hotcakes. I waited another 15 minutes for the manager, Jericca, to handle the refund. When she finally appeared, she bluntly told me they were out of Big Breakfast entirely. • Unprofessional Management: Jericca offered zero apology. Instead of taking ownership of the 45-minute delay and their inventory error, she simply told me to "buy something else." She then actively avoided me by handing my case off to a trainee / part-timer to process. • No Service Recovery: While I eventually got a refund, I was forced to pay full price for a replacement order. After wasting nearly an hour of my morning due to their incompetence, there was no gesture of goodwill—not even a simple apology. Incredibly unprofessional behavior from a manager. Jericca’s lack of accountability and the chaotic kitchen management make this the worst McDonald’s experience I’ve had. I wanted specially highlight the excellent service of the young trainee (a teenage boy, forgot to get his name) who took the initiative to finish my order. Even though he was clearly put in an awkward position by his manager's evasion, he remained calm, polite and helpful.
