Kaya toast is soft and not crispy at all! Toasted too early and left to soften! Disappointing! Looked good but far from good!

About 9am here, good place but 90% of table were dirty, water mark, coffee and food stain. Cleaner is just stand around but not cleaning.

Taiwan brown sugar bubble tea is one of the nicer non branded bubble tea. Not overly sweet. Though pricy but at least it’s worth the calories and price since it’s quite a big cup.

Qiu Lian Ban Mian used to be good before they expanded, but it feels like the quality has really dropped, likely due to the cooks. The only male staff was sitting right in front of the cashier, completely absorbed in his phone and looking totally unbothered. Even when I placed my order, he didn’t move and just stayed seated. The stall selling char kway teow and Hokkien mee wasn’t any better. The char kway teow was nowhere close to what you’d expect. The cashier didn’t even greet or ask for my order properly, just said ‘ah,’ which honestly caught me off guard. I would rather he ask “what you want”. I’m local which is definitely acceptable as their English isn’t ok. Also not sure why, but the place felt really warm even though it’s indoors. Was perspiring.

I am not much a fan of Kopitiam, but whem one arrives Singapore from overseas and you are hungry, there is np better place to find a closeby food court. Of course you can go to the jewel, but its pricier there. A good and fair place to get your favourite Singapore food at not that expensive price!
