Food was good, service was great. I got their Pappa Special Nasi Lemak with Curry Chicken and the three layer tea. Both very good with nice flavor notes. Bill came to be about 20sgd. Hit the spot right before my flight

I visited PappaRich to try their Bamboo Briyani. While the food itself was decent, ( 1st time eating Briyani mutton that have more bones than meat) , I was really put off by the way it was served. To pour the rice, the staff placed the bottom end of the bamboo cylinder directly onto my eating plate before sliding the food out. Because the outside/bottom of the bamboo rests on various kitchen and counter surfaces, having it touch the exact spot where my food was about to be poured felt quite unhygienic and handling it this way was off-putting.

Heard good reviews about Papparich, totally disappointed on my 1st view. Nasi Lemak Ayam Mesah Merah is a fried chicken dip in some weird tasting Sambal.. The vegetable seems to be flash-cooked! All the veggie tasted parboiled and dip in the oil & chilli. The dish is pretty tasteless without any wok hey or stir fried taste. Probably more like a Malay salad. Oh, they pretty much sold out 80% of their menu include bread at 8pm

I love the mutton briyani, the meat is tender and doesn't have any smell. The rice is fluffy and it is delicious. I like the nasi lemak beef rendang though I prefer a stronger rendang spices. The meat is tender and the chilli is tasty though I prefer if it's more spicy. The penang char kway teow is nice though is not really memorable. The lemon barley is good, has a balanced tastes though the barley a bit too much. The price is a bit more expensive than you expect for the Malaysia's foods but it has a fast service.

The 3 servers were just talking happily themselves not attending to us as their first customer. When I go to counter to pay they inform that there is no bread so all the breakfast toast not available. Does the management think that your people should have informed us earlier? Waste of my time and this is not the first time I had this experience in Papa Rich. I don’t think I will be coming back.
