Tried the Mala crispy chicken burger with spicy fries. Food took about 15 mins to come and although the burger was freshly prepared, the fries were cold. Burger was delicious with the chicken really nice and crispy and the Mala sauce had a nice kick to it. We ordered through the self order kiosk and picked our order when our number was displayed under the Ready screen. This is a Halal restaurant.

The mala burger sauce is fantastic and not overly spicy. The bread is not your typical brioche bun; it is freshly made upon order. The chicken patty is also unlike the usual processed fast-food patties, as it is made with real chicken. However, using more chicken breast meat could make the burger more substantial and filling. The vegetables are fresh, and overall, the food is affordable and tasty. However, if you have a big appetite, you may need to order at least two burgers. On one occasion, the chicken wings I ordered were slightly undercooked. The dining space is also quite cramped.

16 May 2026 review: Self service ordering kiosk is at height now, probably cater for more people, but not very convenient for normal height people. Suggest to keep 1 at normal height and the other one at lower height if want to cater for more people. Fries is yummy as usual. Chicken wing is not hot but taste is still not bad. Still spicy and not bad. New seasonal item, shin mala chicken burger, has slight mala taste but not very strong. Not spicy. Overall, its a good experience with food. Just the self-ordering kiosk is abit too low. 2025 review: Self service ordering kiosk. Mala burger is its signature but nothing fascinating. Burger bread is not normal bread. Its more like pastry puff type. Burger overall taste ok, but not super yummy type. We came 3pax but my fries served were all very very short while my 2 other friends' fries were long and nice ones. Abit sad on that. Passionfruit soda is not bad. Fried chicken not nice. Seems over fried and very dark and hard. Disappointed on that. Overall, i feel its a 1-time visit. No need go back again.

First time trying and I must say I’m impressed with the quality and taste. The burger might look like nothing much but it packs a punch. The star was the fried chicken wing though. Relatively small outlet. Food made fresh upon order which was great!

Nice place to have a quick bite. The new Hunan Chilli-Pidan Burger is awesome! Tasty! Something new and interesting. For the golden floss chicken, it's really just a mehhh~ overpowered by the mayonnaise already. Sorry ~~ Okie lah, overall spent a 11 bucks for the meal. Burger, chicken and soda. Still alright. Anyway, tried the mala chicken burger before, taste good and pocket friendly thou. If you ain't into new menus or seasonal menus, perhaps trying their perm item, mala burger is a good choice!
