Came here for lunch and honestly, it’s one of the worst chicken rice I’ve had. The chicken was extremely dry, and the chilli tasted like a sweet-and-sour sauce instead of the authentic garlicky chicken rice chilli. It cost me $8.00 for a dry chicken rice with extra chicken, which is really not worth the price given the quality. Customer service was terrible. There was a long queue, and the uncle and aunty at the front counter were very rude. I initially intended to buy a drink to take away after my meal, but their hot drinks were overpriced, and they even charge extra just for takeaway. I really don’t understand how this place is still surviving. The only positive point is that there’s an open car park nearby. This will probably my last time entering this road-side coffee shop. Not worth trying.

One of the best makan place ever. The claypot noodle was seriously comfort food. Really delicious & slurpy.. The char kuew tiau, was really char and superb.. especially with chilli padi! Really one of th best char kuew tiau ever. The chicken rice..the rice itself was already flavourful.... Chilli seem to be self made so it make it really awesome. The chicken was thick and still juicy.. What make the star lesser is due to the youtiau...the sotong youtiau was too crispy, slightly hard and not much of the sotong paste!!! Didn't taste the sotong at all..

Went for dinner there with family on 14/11/25. 4th visit there, 3rd time ordered the wanton mee(dry) Prawns were not fresh, cooked but soggy. Noodles were bitter. Fried banana was burn. Feedbacked to the guy with a cap whos manning the chicken rice counter He replied that he can't do anything. Not going back to this restaurant.

First of all, we would like to say thank you to the crew, great tasting food served to us. We reached there 5 mins to 2100hrs, bear in mind the last call for order will be at 9pm although it said to be closed at 1030pm. We’ve always tried their fried fritters (banana, tapioca, sesame red bean, curry puffs, jackfruit etc.) but not their main dishes. Main dishes were spot on as per our taste preferences, typical Chinese style wok hei vibes, from fried rice to their chap chye, chicken with cashew nuts. Their ngoh hiang was great as well. It’s been there for many years for a reason, we had noticed regulars patronising their food place as they greeted each other, small talks here and there, a family oriented place. Paid parking area just diagonally opposite, no hassle. Walking distance only, no sweat. Crew were friendly too.. great work guys!!
