Food was truly amazing. From start to finish, everything was so tasty. Service was prompt and beyond. Relaxed vibe that you won't feel rushed. Highly recommended

Loved the spacious and cosy setting for the new restaurant, the space impresses with its high ceilings, elegant interiors and lush al fresco terraces overlooking the Mount Sophia enclave, at the newly opened & newly launched Varel Singapore, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel. Standout dishes were the The Wagyu Buntut Broth for its richness. Slow-cooked for eight hours, the broth carried a robust beefiness infused goodness with lingering spices of nutmeg, star anise and clove. The Wagyu oxtail was fall off the bone gelatinous. Tempe Buncis had the combination of crisp French beans with tempeh tossed in a sweet-savoury kicap manis. The chicken wings were also commendable with its crispy outer crust with honey like glazed coating and juicy meat textures. Squid rojak was a refreshing take that had a surprising flower mayo sauce added to the mix. Overall interesting flavours and concept by Hathaway who has not disappoint in their food offerings

The food was really, really good! King of curries - the beef rendang was awesome and service was attentive. Only issue is the restaurant temperature. It was too warm. There was one of those large portable (?) ACs in the corner but it wasn’t enough. Was there an issue with the aircond? Hopefully sorted by the next time we come back - we do want to come back :-).

Flawless Moody Ambiance & Stellar ServiceI I visited Hathaway Autograph at the Varel Hotel on a weekday evening, specifically hunting for that dark, sophisticated, museum-gallery lounge vibe, and the space did not disappoint. The interior design is stunning, featuring a sweeping high ceiling and a gorgeous mirrored overhead that beautifully reflects the warm, low ambient lighting. I opted for a single comfort dish: their premium seafood Laksa. The presentation was beautiful, and the broth was rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced, topped with a generous mountain of crispy fried shallots. It was exactly the kind of elevated comfort food I needed. A special shoutout to Q, for his exceptional attentiveness and warm hospitality throughout the evening. He was highly observant, pacing the evening perfectly without being intrusive. Between the exquisite architecture, the comforting food, and Q’s stellar service, this was the perfect relaxing escape for me
