This is a very late review. I was looking into my phone's gallery and came across the photos I took when I went cycling 13 km just to get to their place to try their NASI LEMAK. Damn It's been 3 years already. One of the best Nasi Lemak I've tried. Fragrant rice, crispy chicken and a flavourful sambal. Lucky that when I visited the place there was not much queue. I will definitely come back once I passed by the area.

The queue wasn't really long but the waiting time was. I see the people in the queue are ordering like 1-2 plates and the turnaround time was quite fast, but they were preparing all the big pre orders which was like for the whole kampong in between customers causing the queue not to move for some time. Food wise, I would say it's better than average but not really to consider fantastic. The only thing I liked was the bismati rice and the sweet-and-not-so-spicy chili. The other items on the list were pretty normal. Menu wise quite fixed, and they don't really have the flexibility to add extra stuff. I don't really blame them as it might just jam up the queue, and I wished they have egg!

B and G sets were gone by the time we got there around noon. The portion was good and the otak was pretty good. I had a royal flush. Wait didn't take too long but there usually is a line.

One of the better Nasi Lemak place we like. Unfortunately, the “ikan kuning” was sold out even at 10am. The friendly Stall holder “Dave” said there was no fish for last two days and when the fish was available this morning, it was sold very quickly. We had to settle for Set C which was the fried chicken wing with ikan bilis/peanut mix, fried egg and two slices of cucumber. It was good as we like their basmati rice, of course with their special Sambal Chilli.

We tried their Fish and Chicken Nasi Lemak Meal. Simple yet the combination of food and ingredients makes this dish special. So much texture and flavor going on plus the perfect fit of the sambal sauce completes the whole experience. The chicken and fish are just normal for me, but when you eat them all together with the rest of the ingredients, it will be perfect!

I got the full house. Rice, chicken and sauce were divine. The fish cake was just so so for me. What made this meal so special was I had this to go and brought it to the Botanical Garden and ate it in front of a beautiful and peaceful pond.

al dente cooked basmati rice with strong coconut fragrance, chicken was tender and crispy, fried on the spot too. sambal here is a friendlier, sweeter version, but for breakfast in not complaining. do come early as the queues here stretch far, and patrons tend to order multiple plates!

It's a decent Nasi lemak. Chicken really crispy. Rice nicely flavoured. Otah is nice. sambal tasty with slight sweetness. Whether it's worth a long queue is a bit debatable.

Queue for 40mins for this plate of nasi lemak. Rice was fragrant and chicken was crispy and delicious. Although they ikan bilis they could give abit more. Otah wasn’t great.

I really like the sambal (chili paste). Other than rice, the portion is quite small tho. I wish they give more of the side dish since chicken is only wings part. Chicken itself is okay. The combination of all the chicken, egg, rice, sambal is nice. Pity that when I got there at 1 PM, otah sold out already. Overall, I think it's quite overrated.

Excellent sambal balacan and otak with fried chicken, peanuts and anchovies, fried egg, croquette, and cucumber slices in the Royal Flush. Very happy with the extra otak.
