They have set meal for 2pax - $24. (Halal Certified) I chose the Beef Platter. Coz i love grill meat. So im happy with this platter that suits my appetite. There are also buffet style. Not sure how it works though. They come around to top up the soup frequently. And ask if i need anything halfway through my meal. Other than that the staffs wont bother you. Stall is one level down. Near to POSB ATM. You are free to sit anywhere. Its a hawker centre. Quite airy as there are many fans. As long you avoid peak hrs. I went at 5pm. Very minimal crowd. Will return again soon!

The foods are comparable with Seoul Garden but the service is not there. Firstly, they do not allow a table of 5 friends sit nearby with each other. Move us to far distance from the other table. They do not actively refill the soup, need to take by yourself. And their scallops are expensive, $3-$5 per piece.

Been here almost every month before covid but today when we came back we encounter very bad custormer service with the Chinese guy with the hair bun(Owner). He came to our table telling us(Rudely)that he is not liable for any injuries jst because we brought kids along in a warning tone not once but 3times. It was so rude that people turned to look. On top of that we are a total 7 people so we asked for 2 mokata he again rudely told us can use one what if we do this next time he won't accept. Bro if u read this even if you don't have enough mookata you can explain to us and not make you staff answer for your rude mistakes. Regretted coming back. We shall never return again .

Love the halal moorata. Especially the 2 sauces. Soo good! $20 for 2pax splatter is more than enough for us. Would recommend all my friends here. The whole place will be closed for renovation. Will open in January i think.

love it so much! their secret sweet, sour, tangy and spicy sauce really complements the bbq food! Too bad they dont manufacture those in bottles for us to purchase. Would love to go there again.

This is one of the first few Halal Thai BBQ steamboat in Singapore. Me and my Muslim colleagues were eager to check them out as there aren't many options for Halal Thai BBQ steamboat available. Sedap Thai is located at 1st floor of Berseh Food Centre, within a 5mins stroll from Jalan Besar MRT. Affordable, Halal-certified Thai BBQ Steamboat. While Menu is not extensive, however includes all the familiar choices that diners typically savor. For those with smaller appetites, can go for the platter set for two at $24 which consist of an assortment of everything. There's also other platter at $24 as well, like the Chick Out Platter for Chicken lovers, or beef lover's Beef’d Up Platter using 100% Australian & NZ Beef. We went for their All-You-Can-Eat à la carte buffet priced at $22 per pax. Diners can order anything on Menu except for seafood, which incurs a separate charge. There're 2 soup options. We opt for chicken broth (however if you prefer spicy broth, for an extra $2, you can indulge in their Tom Yum soup). Sedap Thai provided beef fat to grease the skillet before grilling. Marinated meat selections were well infused with an aromatic blend of seasonings. Most importantly ingredients were very fresh. 2 chili dips are provided on the side, adding a notable touch. The denser red chili dip is not too spicy with a hint of sweetness, while the other dip had a more tangy profile, a refreshing contrast balancing out the richness of grilled items. Dining experience was fuss-free, and service was quick. To my surprise, Berseh Food Centre was well ventilated. Despite grilling our food, we never experienced any discomfort from warmth. Will be back again.

Value for money ($22) and yummy all you can eat Thai steamboat at Jalan Besar! It’s also halal certified! They had a good variety of meat to choose from so you won’t get taste fatigue! We came on a weekend evening and was a little crowded but still managed to get a table pretty quickly!

This has totally changed my impression of halal food! I’ve came across some halal thai steamboat and had doubts, wondering why I’ll choose to go such places over the common mookata chains. But this was such a game changer!!! The meats were well marinated and so tender, the staff were super detailed and they were so generous 😩 I’ll totally come back again and recommend this to my friends!

I really enjoyed my meal at Thai Sedap! Really yummy meats and great, efficient service. I had the $22 AYCE buffet and it was great value for money. Definitely will be back.

There were so many different types of marinated meats (chicken and beef), meatballs, munchies, etc to choose from! We were spoiled for choice! My personal favorites were the fresh beef slice and NZ premium beef! The meats also pair really well with their homemade sauces! You can pick between their chicken or tom yam soup. I opted for tom yam, which was just the perfect level of spice! Prices are really reasonable too for high quality halal steamboat! Will definitely come again!

Brought my friends to try the halal Thai steamboat, and we thoroughly enjoyed the all-you-can-eat buffet priced at $22, which excludes seafood. The meat selections were fresh and of good quality. We especially relished the NZ premium beef slices when paired with their sauces. I would recommend going on a weekday around 4.30-5.00 PM as it tends to get quite crowded towards dinner time. The staff was friendly, and the service was excellent. We look forward to returning!

It was a fulfilling meal! This is definitely bang for your buck! All meats are flavourful. I love the beef tongue and NZ premium beef. The staff were friendly and attentive, always on the lookout for your soup refills. Can't wait to come back and dine here again!

Amazing place for Halal Thai Steamboat! Especially love the selection of beef that they have, includes cuts like beef tongue! The quality of the meat are all undoubtedly good, even at an affordable price point. They also have a wide selection of sides like cheese tofu, sausages, and even ham. They offer both options of ala carte as well as buffet, but trust me get the buffet it is so worth it! They are located at the lower level of the food center, easy to spot. Sit near the store so it's easier for you to get refills and take orders. Highly recommend to try it out!

first time dining here and was impressed with the food! also, the staffs are welcoming and friendly too! for only $22 per person, you get to enjoy all-you-can eat ingredients on the buffet menu. i recommend getting the garlic chicken and teriyaki chicken as it was well-marinated and flavourful. also, the tom yum soup is not that spicy which is suitable for kids too. with its reasonable pricing and delicious food, definitely would come back again!

First time having Halal Thai Steamboat, tried their all-you-can-eat buffet (at $22/pax) with friends and kids and find it really worthwhile. Food portions are big and the meat are well marinated. Seafood lover can go for the buffet (exclude seafood) and add on the seafood as the à la carte price is reasonable. Will recommend to go early so you can choose a better ventilated seats as the place starts to get pretty crowded and busy by 6pm.

We opt for all-you-can-eat buffet, and we can order anything on the menu except the seafood category, which will be charge separately. I felt that it is still worth it, as we can still be able to order the unlimited serving of meats and other ingredients. The dipping sauces are worth mentioning. It is definitely a rare find for halal-certified Thai Steamboat. A perfect place for meal gatherings!

Sedap Thai serves affordable and halal steamboat. At an affordable price of $22, you get to enjoy a range of fresh meat and vegetable. You can order anything on the menu except the seafood category, which you will have to pay for separately. Though they have a la carte items on their menu, Standard or Chicken Out Set ($22 per person) is their most popular option. A platter comes with 15 different items in small quantities. It may not seem a lot but it’s a substantial amount of food for two people, or possibly one that is very hungry. 🤤 There are two soup options for the steamboat section. You can choose a chicken broth or top up an additional $2 for their tom yum soup. The chicken broth is flavourful as the juices from the cooked meat trickle down into the soup. What’s more, you’ll get free-flow soup here. It didn’t take long for the food to be cooked and ready to eat. It was a great meal. My friends & I get our stomach super full! 😋

First time visited this eatery place. We love the foods. The meat marinated very well and nice. I personally love the Teriyaki chicken extra more. 😄 All the meat after cooks would not feel hard or tough to eat. It’s really soft and good to chew. My two yr old kid can eat too. And the noodle they provided is tasty too. My daughter love it! And the price is good! The most important is halal, that next time I can go with my Malay friends to Makan.

First time trying a halal Thai steamboat! We had the buffet option ($22/pax) and it came with a wide variety of meats (excluding seafood)! Some of the notable meats was the teriyaki beef slices and the black pepper chicken slices! Both were very delicious and well marinated. The NZ premium beef slices were also really good! Super impressed by the quality. They also had a good selection of other steamboat snacks such as cheesy tofu, beef balls and quail eggs and they had sauces you could choose from. I really liked the garlicky green sauce that had a sour tang to it. The other sauce was a red chill spicy sauce. If a buffet is too much for ya, you can also choose to order their platters! Would come back again if in the area.

Wallet friendly, wonderful service & a variety of dishes to choose from! Definitely recommend going to Sedap Thai with your family, friends, partner to enjoy their yummy steamboat! We loved all of the meat selections too. The staffs also checked in on us occasionally to ask if we would need a refill or any help - which we appreciate so much. Coming back here is a must! 😊

I really enjoyed the food and the vibe! The tom yum soup was delicious. It wasn’t too spicy and when mixed with noodles and other ingredients, it tasted so good. It was drizzling that day, so steamboat is a great option for cold days. I would recommend for a nice place to chill and eat!

My friend and I opted for the $22 buffet option which was great value for money! There was a large variety of meat available and we especially enjoyed the fresh beef slices and the marinated chicken. The owner of the stall was also really nice and gave us rubber bands to tie our hair before eating, and proactively topped up our soup for us. Overall, this halal Thai steamboat experience was very enjoyable and we would definitely return if in the area.

First time trying out this halal Thai BBQ Buffet and we will definitely be back again! The marinated meats were delicious and the ingredients were all very fresh. Tried both soup base (Chicken and Tom yum) that even my kids enjoyed. Not too salty but flavourful. Good portion servings of ingredients and definitely value for money! Unlike many Thai BBQ places where it is hot ,humid and smokey, eating at Sedap Thai was comfortable. Didn't get to use the portable fans I prepared in case the kids were feeling uncomfortable. That’s a plus! Remember to make reservations as it gets quite busy after 5pm especially on weekends!

Perfect end to the week - having halal Thai steamboat in this chilly weather! A wide selection of perfectly marinated chicken and beef cuts, as well as veggies, meat balls, eggs, hotdogs, cheese tofu and more! We chose the Tom Yum soup base (the other was Chicken soup) and it was really flavourful! Whatsapp their business number 9680 4883 to make a reservation (only on the day of visit) as they can be quite packed during dinner time!
