Thank goodness I didnt see the Google reviews before ordering as my partner *(again) highly recommended this to me. And again I trusted her taste and to be fair it was not half bad unlike the wall of 1 star reviews this stall has. I spotted on the menu they had Mongolian chicken rice and being a sucker for the taste I ordered and even topped up another $3 for extra meat - all while being oblivious to the google reviews. I did notice a lot of people ordering though and there was a constant order taking and collection of food. I waited about 15 mins and my massive mini wok filled with a mountain of meat was presented to me. The Mongolian sauce aroma accentuated by probably one of the most generous helpings of curry leafs wharfed into my nostrils. This smelled good, and tasted even better. The sauce was spot on, that was a strong wok hei, smokiness to the sauce and the pre-deep fried meat were in bite sized chunks were never too hard or dry on the inside. Every spoonful had at least one curry leaf making each mouthful a treat. I'm torn, between has it been too long since I had Mongolian anything thats why it tastes so good or is Seabay really that good? I have tried other outlets at Plaza Sing and Parkway and they were just average, but then again I didn't order this. Reading the reviews with 1 star I started to notice a trend, they were only directed at a few dishes, usually the carrot cake and hokkien mee. So perhaps I saved myself the torture and ordered something which the chef couls execute well? No matter, this Mongolian meat and rice gets the full 4 stars from me. I didnt try anything else.

Was at Sengkang General Hospital visiting my FIL who was warded there, and decided to grab a quick meal at the Koufu food court. We tried a stall called Seabay Delight. Ordered a Seafood White Bee Hoon and a White Carrot Cake to try. Unfortunately, the carrot cake didn’t really suit my taste, and the white bee hoon was just average. The next day, my FIL felt like having Seafood Fried Bee Hoon, so I bought a takeaway for him. However, when we brought it back to the ward, he felt that the dish was quite bland and lacked the wok hei that you would usually expect from fried bee hoon. So I went down again to order a Fried Kway Teow (without chilli). When I returned to the ward, we realised there was chilli inside the dish. I went back to the stall to explain the situation, and the stallholder did replace the takeaway for me. However, overall the flavours and experience did not meet our expectations. For now, we have decided to personally boycott this stall and explore other food options instead. #SengkangGeneralHospital #KoufuFoodcourt #HospitalFood #SGFoodies #SingaporeEats #FoodReview #HonestFoodReview #FoodExperience #FoodieSG #Boycott

I should have the reviews before ordering from this stall. Hokkien prawn mee is just edible. Can only taste the chilli and lime that I added. $6.80 for a small plate of noodles with 2 pieces of sliced fish cake, few bits of sotong and 2 prawns.

I should have read the reviews before buying my lunch here. For $6.80, the prawn fried rice was pathetic — 2 small prawns n 1 fried egg with the yolk all smashed. You’re basically eating rice with 2 small prawns n 1 smashed egg. 👎

Do not order the white carrot cake.. don’t even have eggs and it’s just large pieces of the carrot thing?? I’ve never eaten such bad carrot cake before and my standards are pretty low to begin with
