Idk why it's 1.8, but it's definitely a better hawker store, almost on equal footing with Wok Hey, so come here if you want a slightly more premium food at about the same price or less.

Poor food quality. Hokkien mee lacks flavour and taste. Seemed to be cooked with tap water instead of prawn broth. Cook clearly does not know how to cook.

⭐⭐ 2-Star Review Donkey and I decided to cycle over from our home to Northshore Plaza II for dinner. Upon arriving at the Cantine food court, we decided to try different stalls; Donkey opted for a steamed fish dish from another vendor, while I headed to Seabay Delight as I was having a strong craving for Mee Goreng. As this is a Zi Char stall, I expected a certain level of "wok hei" and authentic flavour, so I placed my order for their fried Mee Goreng. Unfortunately, the meal was quite disappointing. The Mee Goreng fell far short of the standards set by other establishments I have patronised in the past. It lacked the authentic taste one expects from this classic dish and was noticeably over salted. It simply did not hit the mark in terms of balance or culinary execution, which was a letdown after our cycle there. After finishing my meal, I took a moment to read through previous Google reviews and noticed that several other diners have expressed similar disappointments regarding the food quality. It seems my experience was not an isolated incident. While the location is convenient and the environment is pleasant, the kitchen definitely has considerable room for improvement. I genuinely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on refining their culinary skills. In such a competitive food and beverage landscape, maintaining a high standard is essential for survival. I would love to see this stall improve so that it can truly thrive and serve the community better in the long run. Rating: Food: 1/5 Location & Environment: 4/5 Service: 3/5 Overall rating: 2/5

Ordered their Hokkien Mee from grabfood for dinner and had the worst food poisoning of my life. Vomited the food out few hours later and kept vomiting till morning and had watery diarrhoea non stop. Didn’t eat anything else so i’m sure it was this, for lunch i had home cooked food and no one else was sick. Had to get medicine from KKH as i was also pregnant and getting dehydrated from the excessive vomiting and diarrhoea. Not sure what the heck went wrong but perhaps the seafood was not fresh. will never order again
