We had a wonderful dining experience at Pratunam Restaurant. The restaurant even catered a kids-friendly meal, which was a thoughtful touch for families. The food was delicious, especially the steamed seabass – it was fresh, flavourful, and definitely the highlight of our meal. The portions were very generous too. We also enjoyed the pineapple fried rice, tom yum fried rice, basil chicken, and pad see ew, and every dish was satisfying. To end the meal, we had the mango sticky rice and banana fritters with ice cream. Both desserts were absolutely amazing and the perfect finish! The service was good, and we really appreciated the free-flow plain water. Best of all, the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Overall, a fantastic place for families looking for authentic Thai food. We'll definitely be back!

We were in the area and just wanted somewhere to eat a casual dinner in air con, that's when we chanced upon this place. We ordered the pineapple fried rice, crispy omelette, and crispy chicken cutlet. Good: - the crispy omelette is probably one of the best I've ever had. It was crispy and fluffy, so much so that the oily part at the bottom of the plate is simply forgiven. - the crispy chicken cutlet was well seasoned and had enough gravy and greens to go with it - the pineapple fried rice was good but wasn't fantastic - the prices were fairly affordable, and their portions weren't small either Not great: - their homemade barley tasted a little odd to me. Perhaps it's thai styled while I'm used to the Chinese way of cooking barley water? This is simply a personal preference.

A Simple Day in My Life I enjoy exploring different food places around Singapore. One afternoon, I went to JEM in Jurong East for lunch. While walking around the mall, I saw a Thai restaurant promotion: Lunch Set $9.90, available from Monday to Friday between 11:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. It reminded me of something from the past. There used to be a Soi Thai Soi Nice outlet at The Seletar Mall. I used to go there before, and I really liked their food. The taste, the comfort, and the simple joy of eating there stayed in my memory. But over time, that outlet closed. Later, even the City Hall outlet also closed down. I missed their food. That day at JEM, I decided to try their newer version of the restaurant under the Pratunam concept. I ordered the Runny Omelette Chicken Cutlet Curry Rice Set. When the food arrived, it looked familiar in a way. The crispy chicken cutlet, the soft runny omelette, and the curry sauce brought back memories of the old meals I used to enjoy. It wasn’t exactly the same, but it felt close enough to remind me of those days. There was also tom yum soup and papaya salad on the side, making it a full meal for $9.90. As I ate, I thought about how places change. Restaurants close, move, or rebrand, but the memories of the food don’t really disappear. They stay in small moments like this. After finishing my meal, I rated it 4 out of 5. The food was good, and the value was worth it, but more than that, it gave me a feeling of remembering something I missed. It wasn’t just lunch. It was a small connection to the past. If you enjoy my food adventures and everyday experiences around Singapore, feel free to follow me on Instagram for more updates and reviews. Food quite flavourful and good portion sized dishes. Prices are affordable. The Thai styled steam fish on 50% promo all day. They even have set meals priced at less than $30. The restaurant not too crowded and the service quite fast on a weekday night. Will be coming back to try other dishes.

Decent Thai food located in the residential suburbs. Service crew were polite and friendly. Food was rather decent but felt that it was not spicy enough perhaps it has been tailored to the local taste buds. The wait for the food also too some time. Overall, will still come back to support it. Personaly favorite was the runny eggs thai basil leave rice.
