This was my first time, and I am quite impressed with the place. The best part is it is vegan and vegetarian. I really liked the way the small train delivered the food at our table. The sushi was very tasty. The ramen tomato soup noodle was a bit too tangy but I liked it. The place is nice and cozy. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Overall a great place to eat

Was introduced to this restaurant. It has an interesting concept. The food is plant-based, light and health yet delicious. Suitable even for non-vegetarian as you can’t feel the absence of meat. Can be quite packed so go early.

As Singapore's first plant-based sushi train concept, it offers a unique dining experience for vegans and vegetarians alike. Saute Sushi impressively combines traditional Japanese-style sushi with an array of plant-based meat options, resulting in a menu that caters to diverse tastes. The Ramen also stood out, with its rich, flavorful broth and hearty plant-based ingredients. Also, with wide variety of sushi options to choose from. Each piece was expertly crafted and bursting with flavors that made it difficult to believe they were entirely plant-based. Overall, Saute Sushi provided a very tasty and delicious dining experience. It's an excellent choice for anyone craving Japanese cuisine while following a vegan or vegetarian diet. The combination of traditional Japanese flavors and innovative plant-based options creates a delightful and satisfying meal. If you're in Singapore and looking for a unique and delectable vegan or vegetarian dining experience, Saute Sushi is a must-visit.

Nothing so good about the vegetarian Japanese food here. I have had better. The service is ok and fast. Didn't really like the tempura due to the oil smell. Avocado roll and another sushi was ok the rice wasn't good, japonica, in my opinion. Same with teriyaki katsu don the oil smell was not good and the sauce was so less. Just ate not so good rice.

Adeline is so helpful. She will recommend good food and helped me to take order. She helped me to do online for membership. Every time I bring my friends there I will ask her to order for me because I don't know how to order online.

Impressive vegetarian (vegan options available). Always, Japanese vegetarian is one of the hardest to create. It's abit on the pricey side, but hey it's hard to recreate salmon sushi and katsu don. The ramen is also surprisingly springy and really nice. Highly recommended.

food is not bad, good choice of restaurant to come if you want to eat light. Special kudos to Adeline , she’s good in customer service and actually to be frank I entered the restaurant because of her warm welcome and genuine politeness, which is quite rare in Singapore because majority of the Singapore F&B customer services sucks.

My girlfriend is vegetarian, and never really get the chance to have good Japanese food, as Japanese food mostly contain seafood and other meat. However, this restaurant serves all vegetarian Japanese food! The flavour and texture of the food taste exactly or if not comparable to genki sushi/ sushi tei!!! Was really shock when I tried it for the first time. Highly recommend for vegetarians and even meat eaters too. The prices are similar if not cheaper. Adeline, one of the staff there, was really good in customer service. After seeing us enjoying the food, she recommended us to join their membership to get exclusive promos and discounts in the future. She was very polite and sweet when it came to downloading the app and redeeming the voucher. Good vibes, nice atmosphere, food served on a mini train !!!🚆

*Updated: Comment to the restaurant's reply to my review. So what the restaurant is trying to say that they will serve over ripe/brown/black avocado as their practice (Consumers please take note of this) and that somehow they know what we ate was not rotten.... hmmm.... To the consumers, we will not eat the brown or black ones. Nobody knows if its rotten or not. I proposed you can try serving it to the consumers visually and get their response. Next, We never asked for the free replacement sushi in the first place. It was your staff that suggested it. We even told her we couldn't finish the replacement one. She was nice to propose it which we thought at least it was an excellent response. We merely wanted to give our honest feedback to the restaurant (which you can't accept and refuted us in your google reply now.) And while we waited for 15 mins, thinking that the restaurant would give us a replacement for takeaway, it was your other staff that told us since we finished the food, they can't replaced it. AND that's is where we got frustrated, we never requested it, we waited and then got a sucker punch. I proposed you to go check your CCTV recording. That's all. It used to be good. In my recent visit just now. Standard has dropped terribly. Chawamushi is not smooth and too salty. Their special row had too much rice and rice was too sticky when rolled. Worse is that we ordered the avocado roll. We were surprised that it came with much more mayo and sauce on top. When we were left last 2 pieces. I accidentally flipped the top avocado slice over and it was rotten. And both the last 2 pieces had it! Feedback to Malay staff, she was nice to suggest to offer a new roll. We asked for a discount but they couldn’t give it. Fine, we took a new roll. But after that, a Chinese staff came over and informed us that since we finished the food. They can’t give us a new one. ….. if we saw this kind of avocado, we won’t have ate it in the first place! They deliberately covered the rotten avocado with sauces and between the rice. Unscrupulous business practise. I recommend you to flip your avocados over to check it before eating. Prove that you have not eaten it, maybe there is a chance they’ll change a new one for you. Won’t be coming back.
