I am very disappointed with the service at Sakon Thai. I have dined here several times before, but my last two visits were extremely frustrating. During my previous visit, the restaurant was busy. We ordered two meat dishes and one vegetable dish. However, only the vegetable was served, and we waited a very long time for the two meat dishes. Our rice was already cold by the time the rest of the food arrived. I had to go to the counter to ask about our order before they finally served the remaining dishes. No one explained the delay or apologized. Today, we visited again, hoping for a better experience. We were the first customers to enter the restaurant and ordered only three dishes (two meat dishes and one vegetable dish). Shortly after us, two ladies came in as the second customers. They ordered five dishes, yet all five of their dishes were served before ours. They even had time to take photos and start eating while our table had received only one vegetable dish. We continued waiting for a long time for our two meat dishes. I had to go to the counter to ask about our order, but the staff did not give any explanation or apology. Only after I asked did they finally serve our remaining dishes. To make matters worse, one of the fish slice dishes contained mostly fish skin instead of fish meat. I raised this issue with the staff, but they simply stood there without giving any explanation, apology, or offering any solution. It felt like they had no idea how to handle customer concerns. I really cannot understand how a table that ordered five dishes could receive everything before a table that ordered only three dishes, especially when we were the first customers in the restaurant. What disappointed me the most was not just the waiting time, but the poor service, lack of communication, and the staff's attitude. This has happened twice, and each time I had to remind the staff before the rest of my food was served. When customers raise concerns, they should at least receive an explanation or an apology instead of being ignored. This was one of the worst dining experiences I have had. I sincerely hope the management will seriously review your food-serving process, improve staff training, and provide much better customer service in the future.

ves decent Thai food that’s enjoyable enough for a casual meal, but nothing particularly memorable or outstanding. The flavours were acceptable, though they didn’t quite stand out from other Thai restaurants. Unfortunately, the dessert was disappointing and lacked the finish we were hoping for. Overall, it’s an okay place

Both versions of the tom yam noodles were nice (red & clear) Had a lot of expectation for the BBQ beef and rice. Unfortunately it was underwhelming. Beef doesn't look appetizing and it was lacking of any flavours. Drinks was ok. We ordered the iced lemon tea and thai milk tea. Mango salad was great 👍🏻 Loved the taste.

Second round of dinner today. Not crowded hence got a table easily. Ordered 3 dishes mainly the fried rice with crab meat, clear tom yum soup and sticky mango rice. All the 3 dishes had an authentic Thai flavour. Very original and delicious. Some of the high note here were the prawns were sweet and fresh, Fried rice with wok hey, mango and sticky rice very fresh. Total spend $40.63 Staff were friendly too. 28.06.26
