Had a really satisfying meal at Rasa Rasa. The fried rice was flavourful, well-wok-fried and generously topped with crispy ikan bilis, with a nice balance of spice and aroma. The omelette was soft and comforting, pairing perfectly with the rice. Portions were filling and the food was served hot and fresh. Drinks was real BIG. Simple, hearty local flavours done right — definitely a spot I’d return to. 👍

Not the first time here. But been a while since we came. Food still good as always. Ordered seafood in (s) sizes, portion is good for us. Could probably feed 1-2 more people with the amount of food we gotten.

Ordered curry Maggie vege soup, mozzarella cheese eggs, chocolate and plain prata from Manu stall, and chicken satay from Rasa rasa. All the dishes taste good, waiter and seller both are attentive too. We will definitely come back again !

Honestly, this place deserves 5 stars. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars now is because they recently changed the recipe for their Salted Egg Chicken. It used to be our absolute favorite dish — and, without exaggeration, the best Salted Egg Chicken I’ve ever had anywhere in the world. For almost two years since I moved to Singapore, it has been my all-time favorite meal — whether ordering delivery, dining in, or enjoying it on a simple date night or a happy Sunday at home. It became such a comforting and memorable part of life here. Even the staff have become so warm and familiar over time, almost like friends. A couple of weeks ago, I was genuinely sad and disappointed when I noticed the dish tasted different. At first, I thought it might just be a one-off. But after checking with the always friendly Tohira (“Toto”), it was confirmed that the recipe has been changed permanently. I understand and respect that business decisions are sometimes necessary, especially when it comes to costs. But I’m writing this in the hope that one day, somehow, the original recipe might return. This 4-star review is really my way of saying thank you — for two amazing years of unforgettable meals, comfort, and happy memories attached to that dish. I truly hope the old Salted Egg Chicken makes a comeback someday.
