This famous Malay stall is always packed with people with non-stop long queues from the morning until after lunch. In the Lontong was rich in flavour and the rice cake is firm and fresh. The fried anchovies or ikan bilis added extra crunchiness and taste to the Lontong, first time for me to have this luxurious addition to my lontong. The chopped green chilies blends in well and also help to add a taste of freshness, I only wished that the chilies are hotter. Too little gravy and vegetables. Will still go back to try other dishes they have. Next time I will request no ikan bilis on my lontong.

Updates: tried the mee rebus too, not bad, but not as stunning as lontong. Note: please come before 11.20 or there's a long queue. Boss highly recommended, said wasn't Singaporean of me to not have tried lontong before lol. The gravy was indeed a highlight, I loved the ikan bilis too, quite generous The rice cake thingy I thought was meh, I would've enjoyed the dish more if they replaced the rice cake with noodles or something oops. Quite a lot of veggie too. At $4 a bowl, quite reasonably priced.

long queue spotted at this stall, i think they are famous for their lontong but i ordered their nasi lemak. it was really decent, love that their ikan bilis are sooooo crunchy. they seem to be really proud of their ikan bilis cos i added extra 2 wings and they gave me ikan bilis in the wings packet too. but it’s good! the wings were sadly abit too overcooked? the meat was alil too tough for my liking. but i love how the $4 nasi lemak can be so generous that it comes with a fish fillet, chicken nugget, chicken wings, egg and so much ikan bilis. chilli was v nice too, it was more on the sweet side. rice was not bad. def will give them another chance and order again!

Highly recommend their lontong. The gravy is very tasty. The ikan bilis sprinkled onto the lontong is perfect to bring out the flavor. The mee soto is also very tasty. I love the soup which is very flavorful!

There’s so much publicity on this stall and the long queue is a testament of its food. First time eating the lontong and wow, it’s so delicious. I requested for the fried tofu instead of the ketupat, it’s a wholesome bowl of savoury goodness, from the light and milky coconut gravy, whole hard boil egg, assorted vege and generous portion of crispy ikan bilis. Must request for additional chili paste for the enhance taste. Will definitely come back to eat its other food.

Best lontong I’d tasted in a long time. Very generous servings of rice cake, tauhu, whole egg, veg, ikan bilis and gravy. We ordered 5 serves, and everyone the same standard. They were also very generous with their sambal ikan bilis. Mee rebus was also amazing, but my favourite is still lontong. A long que if you come late. But they are quite fast. Service with a smile from the boy who will make any wait bearable.

The lontong here is definitely the best and I don't even like lontong usually as I am not a ketupat fan. The lontong gravy is so good, you want to drink it on it's own. The generous topping of ikan bilis and serunding makes it even better. Tried the other dishes from the stall but found them to be just average.

‼️LOTONG HAWKER STALL SINCE 1960s‼️✨ … ‼️ Check out nomninjas on instagram, facebook and lemon8💗 … Got their signature Lontong ($4) which is truly deliciously well-balanced💗 generous amount of soft rice cake 🍚 with mountain of tofu, vegetables topped with fried anchovies and homemade sample. What I like is the curry broth where the milky coconut cream tastes so fresh yet does not overpower the spice and sweetness ✨ … Add on Nasi Lemak which visually looks awesome 😊 Got all my favorite ingredients from fish fillet to sambal billis puff / samosa which is a must get ‼️ 👍 … overrall, if i think of Lontong this stall is not to be missed ✨

Love the Lontong. The gravy is creamy and they add lots of crispy Ikan Billis! Very yummy! Had the lovely fried chicken wing too!

Well worth the wait, the Lontong has a generous amount of rice cakes, served with a boiled egg and tofu. Laden with their thick lemak sayur lodeh broth, and topped with sambal, crispy fried ikan bilis and grated coconut flakes, this dish is flavourful and definitely above average quality.

Lovely breakfast, authentic malay food. It's been around for many years. Formerly, located at Tanglin Halt Food Centre now it resides at Margaret Drive Hawker Centre. Tried the lontong (obviously). Which was delicious. Also tried the kueh² and nasi lemak, which were not bad. A few minutes walk away from Queenstown MRT. And plenty of car park lots at nearby MSCP.

The first time I ate their lontong, it was explosive. Quite simply the best lontong i ever eaten! The lemak gravy was so rich, serunding so good and i thought who is crazy to put fried ikan bilis on lontong but that was the dealbreaker. Try it u wont regret it. Only the queue can be long and service slow and their timetable can be eratic.
