My initial expectations of QiJi was that the food was on the smaller portion and more of a convenience food. But I was flat wrong! Local flavours here were amped up and portion sizes were huge! Lontong was superb with its milky and coconuty curry gravy soaked up by the vegetables and other ingredients. The curry rice with fried thigh chicken was meaty and curry tad spicier than lontong and still rich and flavorful. The mee Rebus lacked the nutty strong rich taste we were expecting, but the lime was evident in the gravy. Overall a great experience with the food here!

Another subsidiary halal establishment by Qiji. Nice ambiance and friendly staff but the space are quite limited because the 2 brands share the same location. The food was excellent. Big portion too. The price is comparable to the menu. This establishment only opens during lunch and dinner hours. I was lucky enough to pass by and caught it open for service. Another great halal option in the vicinity. Check them out if you are around the area.

One of my favorite go-to places for a quick meal. Clam laksa and popiah tasted good. The clams were not cleaned thoroughly. I find their Teh-C is one of the best I have tasted.

I love it. Superbly great and friendly service and the food is amazing. The attention to detail in serving every plate of food is precise and very well served. The complimentary coconut ice-cream upon providing a review should be on the menu cause it’s soooo good. This place should be a staple in everyone’s life 🤍

Decent Curry Chicken Cutlet rice. The price is pretty affordable. Came here quite often. Curry was great, but a bit too little for the rice. Served hot, generally better than Encik Tan. However, the stall does not accept Paywave or NetsQR as payment. I paid by Nets, Grabpay and cash. Usually the shop is full, no space to seat for dine in, 12pm to 1pm, 6pm to 7pm.

Foods here suck. Ordered a curry chicken cutlet rice and it looked pathetic and unappetizing. The chicken cutlet was hard like a stone, and seemed to have been over fried many times - is this leftover from the previous day? The staff was also not friendly. Asked if I can do paywave and he showed and annoyed look and responded loudly “NO!”.

Standard canteen type layout. Self service at the counter, good selection of dishes. No see hum in the laksa. Popiah was tasty. In general the dishes all taste at a good standard, with nothing below average.

They are very patience with my kids who patronise this outlet. When my son requests for more curry, the aunt will not deny his request. Not only the food is nice, the people are kind and service are good! Now, my kids only want to eat qiji at this outlet.

My son loves the curry chicken thigh rice here at Qiji Northshore Plaza! As my son always asked to add more gravy to his rice, the staff already recognised my son after a few visits and always offered more gravy before he even asked! What a good customised service! The food are nice, we all love the laksa & the curry chicken rice!

Nice fusion flavour-bomb food here. Otak-otak balls were very nice. Crispy outer layer with fragrant otak-otak fillings. Cold brew was pretty good but will be better if there is an sugar-free option. Assam squid pasta was quite interesting but a bit too acidic. Probably reduce the acidity and tune up the savoury flavour would make the dish more balanced. It gets pretty one dimensional halfway thru as the pasta and squid were pretty similar in texture and bite size. Perhaps can switch to spaghetti. Overall, food was quite good. Will be back to try other food.

The chicken bites have a unique muruku batter, very crispy and goes well with fresh lime. The crispy sweet potato "poutine" with curry is served with a fried egg topping (the kind served with fish soup), and is very tasty. The beef rendang with butter rice is fantastic! Although the meat could have been more tender the flavour is fabulous! My favourite is the seafood in coconut broth - it is actually a full-bodied laksa gravy thick with fried dried shrimps! The portion of seafood is very generous although the fresh prawn could have been more plump. I also loved the squid ink pasta which is very unique as it tasted refreshing like tom yum goong and uses mini conchiglie instead of the usual spaghetti.

Soy milk has big super powdery chunks. Checked with polish station staff and his response: “We use powder satchets so it is normal. Whole drink is meant to be powdery”
