Been seeing it on my social media. Finally had time to come down. When you first walk in, be ready to order as staff are quite enthusiastic about getting your order, it’s like ordering at a hawker centre. There was so much amazing looking food displayed that we could only feel bad as we didn’t know what we wanted since it was our first time there. We were a table of 3 so we ordered the nasi ambeng set for 2 and a tauhu goreng. We also asked to change the beef to something else as we don’t take beef. They very kindly agreed. A staff then showed us to our table. The nasi ambeng was GOOD! The sambal was SPICY 🌶 so be prepared and order enough drinks if you can’t take the heat. I loved the potato ball (begedil), the fried fish, the chicken, the cuttlefish. I didn’t really know how to eat the fried coconut stuff, but my friends liked it. The tauhu goreng is to die for. It’s super fried and oily. When I looked around, I noticed some other diners ordering dishes to share. They had a whole variety of dishes that we are definitely going back to try.

Not my first visit, but been here 5 times and ordered takeaway/self-pickup multiple times from Pu3. The fact I’ve been back so many times speaks for itself as Pu3 serves good quality Nasi Ambeng, at affordable prices and large portion. Even with 4 gentlemen, we simply could not finish this large portion of Nasi Ambeng. Even when I order takeaway, we can share it among 6 people as the portion is really filling. I recommend ordering the Ambeng Basic and adding on the Tahu Telur and Sup Buntut (Oxtail Soup). Will be back here again soon, best Ambeng in town! 😃

I used to go to this rrstaurant way back when it was operating in Bencoolen Street. However 2 days ago it was the 1st time vack at their new premises at TripleOne Sonerset. Decor looks nice but imortantly is the food is supetb. We had 2 Dulsng Royal set and today I was back again. Csnnot resist the individual Rawan Set. My wife took the Asam pedas. She gave 5 out of 5 for the Asam pedas which is sge said the best so far. The gravy and condiments are superb. Tahu Telor is slso another side dish that you should try. You will not regret coming. Thank you Pu3 for the delicious food and awesone service. We will be back.

It's just average, or maybe a tad below that. The beef rendang, curry chicken, bagedil and fried fish all did not make an impression. But I'm glad I've ticked this place off.. so I won't keep wondering what it's like.

Food was good. The huge platter looked very shiok and sinful. Only complaint is the shell food tasted very strange... other than that, nice restaurant for halal food.

Come early to chope a walk-in table for lunch on Sunday or make reservations ahead cuz while we old frens had a great time savoring our Royal Nasi Ambeng and then having lopez and goreng pisang eaten with sambal & taoyu (a msian thing i’m told-very delicious) for dessert, we noticed we sat right thru two sittings of lunch with all tables continuously full and a queue outside too. Although a platter feeds four, it can easily feed 5 (or 6 persons with small appetites).

Serving local Malay cuisine, I didn’t expect this place to be so good! The highlight for me was the Nasi Ambeng. The sambal accompanying the dish was epic. It was sweet, spicy and full of flavour. The beef rendang was so tender you can easily break it up with a fork. The other side dishes served were delectable as well. My only slightly negative feedback will be the bean sprouts. They were too raw for my taste.

Great food. Reasonably priced. The restaurant is good to just eat and go as the sound pollution is quite bad.

Terung ($1.50) - not bad. Sayur lodeh ($2) - ok. Sambal sotong ($5) - tasted more like cuttlefish, could be better. Beef rendang ($5) - could be more tender.

Visited for lunch. Had the Nasi Ambeng set. The vegetables and spicy peanuts and anchovies were outstanding. Sadly, the ayam lemak wasn't to my favorite as the chicken lacks flavor, feels like it wasn't simmer long enough in the sauce/gravy. The teh tarik was good as well. Worth the visit if you are in the area, next time will try the beef or sotong set.

We ordered this food for 4 pax at $65 and it is so filling. The set is so delicious as well. Worth the price and value for money if you are eating with friends.

I had the ambeng royal for 2 pax. No matter how hard we tried, it's impossible to finish!!!. The portion is huge, generous serving of everything. $40 for 2 pax well spent. While it look poorly decorated amongst the other restaurants in 111, the crowd makes it a great ambience to dine

Another happy foodie adventure. 🤗 I’ve heard so much good reviews about Pu3 and finally have the chance to try it, thanks to a lunch organised by my company. Pu3 is famous for their Nasi Ambeng but we get the best of their signature food in a buffet serving. I particularly like the dry Mee Siam, fried chicken, spicy prawns and oh the lovely Kueh Salat. I guess I just love anything with glutinous rice. 😍 📍 Pu3 Restaurant

Tl:dr sotong not spicy. Chilli mid spicy. I like the tauhu Ate this as a celebration for colleague farewell. We ordered different dishes and shared as well as individual food. Overall portions are ok. Wish the food were more spicy tho.

Loved the atmosphere! We ordered the nasi ambeng royal set for 2 pax and we truly enjoyed the lemak as well as sambal goreng. To be honest, the food is really tasty However, we might have come late so the urap beansprout, acar carrot/cucumber as well as the peanut/anchovy sambal was sour-ish (like you know it was cooked too early in the morning, maybe?). Overall, we will come again but maybe, next time, we will come during lunch hours when the food are freshly made? 😅

Amazing Malay food restaurant serving delicious dishes which can all be paired perfectly with their awesome homemade sambal chilli. You can select what dishes you want at the counter, or order off the menu. Everything we tried was delish. Oxtail soup, stingray, sambal bittergourd, fried chicken, and not forgetting the unassuming yellow chicken curry sauce which completes the plateful of flavours. Will definitely be back to try everything else.

Nasi ambeng was delicious but served a bit lukewarm. tahu telur was nice though! Beef rendang tasted better than the chicken lemak. Great place for gatherings with long tables and beautiful greenery near the glass wall.

Quite an amazingly unique Padang place, I think it's rather Minang or something else, most locals wouldn't understand the difference. Nasi Padang is in relation with the area of Padang in Indonesia however there are also other areas where food is derived from in Indonesia such as Medan and Minang of the more popular ones, price list is depicted, value for money and the beef rendang is galore.. must try the egg tofu set, oNE setback is that... They don't serve carbonated drinks.. I need my coke with my Padang. Will go again...

The platter looks awesome even if some items may not be available due to popular demand. Beware of the spice level! Great for sharing as a group of 5.

$33 for the nasi ambeng set is quite worth it. Although it’s meant for 2 people but 3-4 people can share. Check the price before ordering the side dishes. I paid $7 for a small bowl of sayur lodeh(no toufu just vegetables)! Tauhu telor and teh tarik are good. Don’t like the ayam lemak and sayur lodeh as they have an overpowering smell of cumin - need to review the recipe and get the spice mix proportion correct. Beef rendang too tough. The ordering system is very silly - leading to a long queue. You first order and collect the side dishes from the server behind the counter then move on to the cashier where you order your main dish. The server for the side dishes does not know the price so you need to ask the cashier first then go back to the server. This order, wait then order again process is highly inefficient.
