This is a great place for a quick bite. I love the chicken and special and beef pies. The sugar rolls are really nice too. It is inexpensive but still good quality and delicious.

Not bad. Especially the chicken pie. I remember visiting the original at High Street a few decades ago.

Best n friendliest from all polar outlet in Singapore - Aunty Heong Thai Thai at Square 2!! Bcos of her 5* service. I bought 12 pies from her instead of 4. The worst is vivo outlet - the malay aunty n Chinese who is only keen to use her hp.

I went to Polar Puff & Cakes Pte Ltd @ Novena Square 2 this afternoon to get Lychee Rose cake @$10.80 and Banana Walnut Block cake @$9.00 and 1 piece of Curry Puff(chicken) @$2.50 meant for tmr breakfast for my family. When I reached home at 6pm plus to sort out the cakes, I was shocked to notice the Lychee Rose cake's expiry date was 16 March 2024 which is tmr! Called in and spoken to their staff Irene whom served me earlier on. She said the staff whom was in charge in the morning DID NOT label the tag as Less 20%.! If I had known that the cake will expire tmr and no way we can finish all by tmr expiry date, I will not purchase it in the first place. This is NOT a matter of big discount given. May I know what is the standard protocol of Polar Puff & Cakes for handling food going to expire? NOT all customers will want to buy going to expire cakes or puffs even with a discount given. I came down specially to Novena Square after their good review. But this is a BIG disappointment to me. Don't think I will want to purchase Polar in the future. Truly believe the reviews are true!
