I came here for lunch today and had a very frustrating experience at Pho Vietnam. I asked if I could have additional vegetables and was happy to pay extra for them. It should have been a simple 30-second request, but the staff were unable to understand me and I was told “don’t understand / no English”. I understand that not every staff member may speak English, but there was no one available who could help me communicate or clarify my request. What concerned me further was that there was no clear contact number or feedback channel for the stall or its management. I had to ask my colleague, mall security and eventually another stall operator before I could get in touch with the coffeeshop owner. As this is a MUIS-certified halal establishment, it also made me wonder: if there is no one at the stall who can communicate with customers or handle basic queries, who is the designated person responsible for ensuring the stall is operating according to its halal requirements and addressing customers’ concerns? I work nearby and regularly come to Lazada for lunch, so this was particularly disappointing. A simple request turned into a prolonged and unnecessarily stressful experience during my lunch break. I have since spoken to the coffeeshop owner, who was helpful and said he would feedback to the stall. I hope the management can consider having someone available who can communicate in English during operating hours, as well as a clear contact/feedback channel for customers.

Delicious beef banh mi. However, they used stapler for my takeaway order which is unnecessary & dangerous. Giving an overall 4 stars because of this.

The pho was so bad, soup doest taste anything close to real Pho, meet ball tastes like expired meat alrd. The chef and staff are not Viet, they’re all chinese, service attitude is bad also. Avoid wasting your money here

I got the #3. Taste was ok. It lacked the amount of protein from what the photo showed.

This food stall is a great spot to satisfy craving for Vietnamese food. I only discovered it while spending some time near Bras Basah MRT station. On this visit, I tried the stir-fried beef bánh mì, and it was so good. I would definitely return if I happen to be in the area again.
