Can’t believe it’s real! So excited to have Papa ayam opened up here in Vivo city. It’s located right beside NTUC FairPrice and beach road curry rice stall in B2 (mrt floor). Ordered pickup to avoid crowd and waiting time.

New Stall at Vivo City. Nicely decorated shop in bright yellow and neon lights. Cute chicken logo. However upon entering the shop, you feel oily due to the poor air circulation in the shop. Seats are quite limited, around 30 pax but due to moving lunch crowd, there should not be a long wait. BUT the wait for food is quite long! Maybe due to the inexperienced kitchen and the counter staff have to keep apologising to the customers for the wait. Ordered the Ayam Greprek Half half which comes with rice, a portion of chicken and 4 pieces of crackers.. added $1 for chicken skin as recommended by the staff. Not recommended unless u really crave chicken skin.. only 2 small pieces for $1 and they are oily!. Chilli spicy is from level 1 to 15.. ordered level 6 which is listed as spicy but it is like level 1 at other Ayam Pengyet shops. Go for lunch if the other shops are full..

Tried out this place for lunch. One of the best indonesian food around. Their chicken is very tender and the chilli is awesome. Will definitely visit again!

Papa Ayam at VivoCity is a gem! Their fried chicken is incredibly tender and flavorful. The range of chili sauces is impressive, catering to all spice levels. The staff's service is top-notch. A must-visit for chicken and Indonesian food lovers!

Wanna give 4.5 stars but round off to 5 stars due to great and welcoming service of your staffs. Would be nicer if chicken can be more hot, luckily rice was hot enough that went well overall.

Edited on 28 Nov 2023: Visited again as colleagues wanted to try. Food was served much faster now and The chicken skin had improved as well. Not so oily like the last visit and now, there're 4 pieces for the add on. Tried the satay which is not bad too.

Extremely delicious nasi goreng!! The rice was awesome!! However, chicken was nice but nothing to rave about. As for the crispy chicken (added side), it was not hot and the taste was not very good. But the customer service was very nice, warm & welcoming

I brought lunchboxes for takeaway in my attempt to be environmentally friendly, but the chef said not allowed. They didn’t give me a reason why not. In the end the they gave me three plastic bags/box for takeaway, which is so dumb cause i am trying to reduce plastic (refer to pic). Hope their management can do something about this. Literally helping them save costs/quantity on their disposables too 🤷🏻‍♀️

It's not authentic Indonesian food at all. The chili isnt even spicy at 14 level. Chili was watery too. Portion is small too. So far only smile murtabak is best authentic

Newest outlet of popular Ayam Gebrek chain in Singapore. Serving the same delicious fried chicken and chilli condiments as the rest. The fried chicken skin is a must have!

Tried Papa Ayam for the first time and it was so shiokkk! Their signature boneless crispy fried geprek chicken paired with generous portion of their new sambal balado was heavenly! Highly recommended for people to try this authentic Indonesian restaurant!! Also want to give thumbs up to the friendly service staff and I also love the restaurant outlook because of the cute neon chicken lights! Took cute pics with my friends haha! :)
