I have been a regular customer for the chilli tofu rice for quite some time, especially since I often have cases at Mount Alvernia Hospital. One of the reasons I kept coming back was because the taste and portion size had always been consistent. It's not easy to find a place that serves genuinely spicy chilli these days, and I really appreciated that theirs was actually spicy instead of the overly sweet version that many places serve. I enjoyed it so much that I would always pay extra for an additional serving of chilli. Unfortunately, my recent visits have been disappointing. At first, I thought it was just a one-off experience, but the same thing happened again today. The portion has been reduced quite noticeably—much less rice, much less chilli (despite paying extra for it), and only a very small serving of vegetables—all for $7.90. It's disappointing to see such a significant drop in value from a place I've supported regularly. I genuinely hope this is just a temporary issue and that the consistency returns, because it has made me reconsider whether I should continue being a regular customer.

$7.9 - Home-style chili chicken noodle The Good The soft boiled egg was done well and the chilli crisp was tasty. Noodles had a slight chew which was nice. The Bad The chicken meatball tasted alright but were really soft like it had too much flour in it. There was a clump of what I assume to be fried onions and garlic, and the oils in that were already starting to turn. The whole dish would've been a lot better if not for the weird tasting oil. What a shame

I didn’t visit the physical shop but ordered Grab delivery, and I have to say — it was a pleasant surprise. The fact that i order during rush hours is already a huge plus, but what really impressed me was the professional packaging. Everything came neatly packed in high-quality containers, which kept the food warm and intact. The coconut rice was fragrant, with that distinct coconut aroma, and the chicken was well-marinated and flavorful. What amazed me most was how good it tasted even through delivery . The chili paste (sambal) was perfectly balanced and added just the right kick.
