The Japanese rice stall is quite good the salmon was quite fresh, good service, a bit expensive if you add extra meat

The teriyaki unagi arrived like the opening theme of a Kyoto night festival — sweet, smoky and beautifully composed. The caramelised glaze flowed across the eel like the steady strings of a shamisen, while the slight char added that deep taiko drum finish at the end of every bite. Paired with the soft sous vide egg, the richness mellowed into a smooth harmony instead of overwhelming the palate. Even the grilled Brussels sprouts played their role, adding little bursts of texture like cymbal accents in a traditional Japanese ensemble. The shabu² beef felt more like a relaxing Studio Ghibli soundtrack. Light, comforting and warm. The thin slices of beef carried a gentle savoury melody while the pumpkin added natural sweetness that softened the entire composition. Beneath it all, the cabbage quietly soaked up the juices like the background instruments holding the whole performance together. Niku Niku’s concept delivers Japanese grilling in a compact bento performance — simple presentation, but every ingredient enters at the right timing. Not every dish deserves an encore… but the unagi definitely earned a second performance.

I ordered the beef nisuke set. The furikake rice was nice and beef was cooked shabu shabu style. The packaging was an aluminum sealed ( similar to airline packaging ) which helps to keep the food warm.
