Wanting to try something new, my hubby and I decided to come here for dinner at about 6pm. As for the menu, I would say it is quite extensive with a wider range of chicken and some beef. Customers can customize the sauce of your chicken order. We ordered: 1. Oakwood 2 in 1 Chicken - it was chicken pieces done in 2 different sauces with cheese corn in the middle and some kimchi - chicken meat was generally tender and sauce was not overpowering and overly salty. - generous with the cheese - it came with 2 sides that customers can choose and I selected fried tteok and sesame dressing salad. > sesame dressing salad was refreshing and portion was substantial > fried tteok was overly cooked and it was harden. It was seasoned with salt and pepper. Not to my liking 2. Hamuel Pancake - decent on the ingredients but I personally found flour ratio was little much as was kind of thick 3. Traditional Hanbang Samgyetang (White rice) - portion of chicken was a big piece for 1 pax - soup was not bad as had a ginseng taste to it which felt nourishing - can select white rice or glutinous rice - this set came with a basket of battered egg plant, zucchini and mushrooms(i think) and a plate of kimchi Our mains came for a good 15mins but beverages are yet to be served. We alerted the Supervisor(male) and he checked our ordered before serving us shortly. As a Supervisor, he should uphold a certain standards, especially hygiene or even being socially responsible as a person. Unsure if he is feeling unwell or to practice proper hygiene standard, he wore a mask but wasn't fully covered, partial covering his mouth pnly only. His service was just mediocre, no smile and simply looked listless. Basically we both didnt feel welcoming during our whole dining experience. We just ate to finish up, pay and leave. We ordered a smoked grilled original chicken with 2 sides of rice with furikake and potato quail eggs to go. Total damage: $101.02 Would we return again? Unlikely..

I had the chicken kimchi jjigae and it was super oily and not much chicken. But the chicken itself was good. The soup was lacking flavour. My partner had the green chilli chicken which was good. The chicken was so tender and nicely cooked. But probably will not come again :(

Namu Bulgogi (Hillion) did not disappoint! 🤤🔥 Fantastic food, great ambience, and every bite was worth it. The place has a cosy vibe that’s perfect for enjoying a satisfying Korean meal. The food arrived hot, was packed with flavour, and left me wanting “just one more bite”… several times. 😂 Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to again. Highly recommended if you’re craving delicious Korean food with a comfortable atmosphere! 🇰🇷❤️

Visited Namu Bulgogi with my family after noticing the variety of samgyetang options on display outside. We ordered the Perilla Samgyetang, Beef Bibimbap and a noodle dish. The food was decent, and I appreciated the different samgyetang choices. However, there was no complimentary water or free flow kimchi provided, despite all of us ordering main dishes. Personally, I feel these are basic staples of the Korean dining experience, and given the restaurant’s price point, it would be reasonable to include them. Overall, an enjoyable meal, but the dining experience could be improved with these simple additions.

📍Namu Bulgogi It must be the deep fried enoki mushrooms that had us gulping down lots of water to wash away the thirsty aftertaste. Otherwise, the halal Samgyetang we tried were comforting and delicious! 🏆 Signature Wild Mushroom Samgyetang
🏆 Traditional Hambang Samgyetang
🏆 Kimchi Samgyetang
🏆 Tteokbokki (+$2 for cheesey melt) The price point is on the higher side for a tiny suburban shopping mall eatery. But I think the quality and food portion are worth the splurge on special occasions. #tiramisoooo #tramisoooojiaks #jiakjiakjiak #namubulgogi #halalsamgyetang
