Very good Thai food. And Muslim owned! Order tom yum noodles with prawn. Everything was good, the soup, prawn and noodles. Only issue for me is it is on the pricier side. $8.30 for a bowl with two prawns, that makes me reconsider going back. However the taste is on point and would recommend. Queue and wait time can get long though.

Back in town, and one of my first stops had to be Naakin! They truly have the best Tom Yum in town. The flavors are incredible—rich, fresh, and perfectly balanced. It was definitely very spicy for me, but I loved every bite because the heat only made the soup more authentic and delicious. The service is always excellent, and the staff are genuinely friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making every visit enjoyable. This is the kind of place that keeps me coming back whenever I’m in town. If you’re visiting and enjoy authentic Thai food, Naakin is an absolute must-try. Highly recommended!

Best hawker Thai food ever! Might just be best Thai food ever. I ordered basil chicken rice and chicken tomyum soup + prawns. The basil chicken rice came with a perfectly cooked sunny side up. Look at the colour of the yolk and you will know it is QUALITY EGG, the chunky chicken bits were fresh and tender considering that they are breast meat. Guilt-free indulgence! It is really fragrant without being too saucy or salty too! The tomyum soup was light, flavourful and it tastes like it is made in-house from scratch! The aromatics looked fresh in the soup. This is perfect for SG’s weather because personally i would steer clear of thick hot soup for lunch. The prawns were cooked just right and succulent! Please go give them a try if you are in the area! You will love it! I was there at about 215pm and there was abt 2 customers in front of me!

Late review, visited Naakin in February at Amoy Street Food Centre and ordered the Pad Thai for takeaway. The meal was packed well, which helped maintain the temperature. In terms of value, the pricing is highly reasonable given the quality of the food provided. It is worth noting that this is a very busy food stall, particularly during peak lunch hours. To avoid extended wait times, it is highly advisable to arrive early or visit after the main lunch rush has subsided. Overall, it is a solid option within the food centre, and I do recommend giving it a try if you are in the area.
