The fragrance of the rice hits u in waves of deliciousness. Crispy Ikan bilis, sweet and salty sambal. Juicy chicken wing. Fantastic.

Rather disappointed. Rice was cold but thank fully cooked thru. Rice is nicely seasoned, and cooked using basmati rice. Would have been better if it is served warm or hot.
Was expecting the small size fried ikan kuning (yellowstripe scad), instead got a large one. For $5 plate, not too bad value.
Chili sambal is on the milder side. A tinge of spiciness but mostly on the sweeter side.
The fried egg is rather sad looking.
Aunty was friendly this morning.

Its been a long time since I returned back to Changi Village hawker center for the famous Mizzy Corner nasi lemak. I thought they never opened because of the fasting month. So here they're open and I grab a plate of drumstick set rice with otah add on. I saw the freshly rice cooked so I thought, no more "cold rice" serving as per other reviewers. As in the 1st picture, the drumstick rice set looks pretty nice before eating. Upon almost finished eating, then I realised that the drumstick was still raw, as in the 2nd picture. In order to avoid dispute, I zoom in the drumstick so everyone can still see the raw meat attached to it. Out of politeness, I informed them that the drumstick is still raw and they need to re-cook it. But then, they never acknowledged, never feel remorse, never apologized and pretend nothing happened. So I walked away a little...turn around to look at the stall again to see if they remove the entire tray of drumstick to re-fry again. Never at all!! I know it is the fasting month and sometimes the food cooked may not be consistent due to not able to "test taste" it. However, evidence provided by customer and yet still no actions taken. I know there's lots of strong support for this stall so I do not want to say "avoid" or "support". If you're pretty much ok with their inconsistency of the food and just pretty much plain supporter, go ahead to patronize. Otherwise, based on my food photo, I leave the decision entirely up to you. For me, I believe this will be my last visit.

Nasi Lemak (SGD $6.50) @ Mizzy Corner Nasi Lemak.
.
Established in 1997 and co-operated by Mizrea Abu Nazir and Iskandar Abu Nazir, this popular stall draws long queues daily.
.
Their long-grain basmati rice has a mild grainy earthy floral sweet flavour with a loose fluffy texture, incredibly light and easy-to-eat. The juicy cucumber lends vegetal sweet flavour, the soft fried chicken egg has eggy savoury sweet flavour, and the crisp crunchy deep-fried ikan bilis / anchovies carry fishy salty savoury flavour.
.
The springy breaded fish surimi fillet has sweet savoury flavour, yum. The turmeric marinated deep-fried chicken wing is crunchy outside and tender inside, with meaty savoury spice flavour. The thin sambal tumis / stir-fried chili paste is smooth with pronounced sweet savoury spice flavour. Nicely appealing.
