Really enjoyed the food at Mamanda! 😋 If you’re looking for authentic Malay food with rich, traditional flavours, this is definitely a place to try. ❤️ Everything was flavourful and satisfying, and you can really taste the authenticity in the food. A great spot to experience delicious traditional Malay cuisine — will definitely come back again!

Came here for a family event, nicely lit hall. The food was marvelous, the beef rendang soft and tender, ayam merah juicy and not dry. The rice and bee hoon taste good too.

The place was beautiful and big. The staff were nice and friendly too. However, the food was quite bad. I ordered the Nasi Sambal Goreng Ayam. The sambal was diluted, the bagedil does not look like bagedil and it actually has a bad smell. The sambal goreng was bland. The chicken was small, it was more of a chicken cutlet, no chicken leg as I was expected. I couldn’t even finish the meal cos of how it was not tasty at all. The food and a drink were expensive too! I paid $16. That’s why I wonder why there was literally no other customers except me in the restaurant. I have attended wedding where Mamanda was the caterer and it was delicious! But I am so surprised at the stark difference between having the food in the restaurant and at weddings. They really need to taste all the foods in their restaurant and revamp it. Otherwise, just don’t do restaurant and do an event space instead. Majorly disappointing. Will not come again.

Lovely interior design featuring a small stage for special occasions. The nasi sambal goreng is beautifully plated. The greens in the sambal goreng are cooked to perfection—retaining a crunchy texture with absolutely no raw, grassy odor. The beef rendang was relatively chewy, likely because they use a leaner cut of meat. Personally, I prefer marbled, fattier cuts for stewing so the meat turns out softer and richer. I really enjoyed the begedil, which was cleverly reimagined with a tempura-like batter. The outer crust adds a great crunch to the potato patty. Overall, the kitchen seems to take a minimalist approach to spices, resulting in a cleaner but less complex flavor profile.

Disgraceful service. Saw google it closes at 9pm. Me and partner reached at 7:45pm, no one was at counter, no staff, only 1 family dining. So we sat down and scanned the QR to order(7:54pm) A staff suddenly came out of the room in the receptionist from where he was chilling, and he went to talk his kitchen staff while im still ordering. He then came to us and told us that the shop is closing and no more orders taken. Its not even 8pm. Ruined the entire night because we thought the food and service was like the kampong glam MAMANDA. If you think this is a fake review, check your CCTVs. I should have read the reviews before wasting my time coming all the way from the west. Nonsense.
