This stall is located inside a typical KopiTiam so generally that's that but great for the Muslins as it is halal certified (posted as of 12 Jul '26)... We had the qongching grilled fish & sichuan diced chicken. Ive had better elsewhere but for beginners to Mala Delicacy & worried about the spiciness causing regular visits to the rest room, this is adaptable.. Though you can request on the level of spiciness. You can share the fish among 4pax with other dishes ordered but normally I have it for 2pax 😂

If you’re a fan of that signature numbing spice but need a place that’s inclusive and comfortable, Mala Wok (located within the One Two Eat food court) is a fantastic choice. Here’s why it’s a staple for mala lovers in the East: • Halal-Certified: One of the biggest draws is that it is fully halal, making it a great spot for groups of friends or colleagues to enjoy an authentic Sichuan-style meal together. • Aromatic & Fragrant: The moment you walk near the stall, you’re hit with a wonderful, fragrant aroma of dried chilies and peppercorns. Their mala xiang guo (dry stir-fry) is well-balanced—it’s savory and "ma" (numbing) without being overly oily. • Huge Selection: There are lots of ingredients to choose from, ranging from fresh greens and various mushrooms to premium meats like sliced beef and seafood. You can truly customize your bowl exactly how you like it. • Dine in Comfort: Since it’s tucked inside Heartbeat@Bedok, you get a clean, air-conditioned environment. It’s the perfect escape from the heat, especially when you’re already sweating from the spicy food! • CDC Vouchers Accepted: For a wallet-friendly meal, you'll be happy to know they accept CDC vouchers. It’s a great way to use your vouchers on a satisfying, hearty meal. 💡 Pro Tip: If you’re not a "nuclear-level" spice warrior, their "Medium Spicy" (Zhong La) is quite manageable and allows the herbal fragrance to shine through. If you're feeling brave, the "Big Spicy" definitely brings the heat!
