This is one of those rare old school eating place, with a very nostalgic vibe. I came here a couple of times for the sang mee which is very hearty and satisfying.

So far all food quite tasty. I used to like the Ngor Hoang, even today but now many hard, small bone pieces. Please be careful for kids...or loose teeth. Hope they look into this. Thanks.

Other than being my kids’ favourite chicken rice spot, this store truly deserves an award for outstanding customer service. Today, I experienced something very unpleasant while placing an order through Grab. After waiting for more than an hour, the rider (Leow Kan Leong) cancelled my order without any update. Feeling frustrated, I decided to check directly with the store and spoke to Chris and this is where everything turned around. Chris was extremely helpful and proactive. He assisted me immediately, even providing the rider’s contact number. On my end, I tried calling the rider but couldn’t reach him as the line was busy. Meanwhile, Chris informed me that he could see from his system that the rider wasn’t moving and that the order was indeed cancelled. Without hesitation, Chris offered options, including arranging Lalamove for me. I wasn’t keen on that, and he completely understood. Instead, he suggested I repurchase via Grab, and he would handle the rest. What truly impressed me was what he did next: Chris called me back to let me know he had remade a fresh set of my order because he didn’t want me to receive soggy food (especially my youtiao sotong). This level of thoughtfulness is so rare these days. And he didn’t stop there once my new order was picked up by a different rider, Chris even called again to check that I had received everything properly. I am genuinely grateful and impressed. Chris and the team absolutely deserve recognition for their exceptional service. This is customer service at its best!

I've been going here since I was a child and so has my whole extended family. This place is our comfort go-to place for halal food. Chris has always been a kind manager and takes orders via phone too for drive-by pick ups. Will continue going here for a long time.
