Love the cozy atmosphere of this cafe. Friendly baristas with simple yet delicious food on the menu. Loved their chocolate drink, not too sweet. Should try their meatballs with housemade focaccia next!

Another filter for the weekend. Interesting pick because this coffee has 2 different profile on ice and off ice! 😮 On Ice Very grape-like middle notes. Think Ribena. And ends of a little bit of astringency. Totally different than the stated profile. As-Is It starts with the same Ribena profile but this time at the tip of our tongue. Then imagine your tongue being engulfed by the taste of plain Greek yoghurt; that slight yoghurt sourness. And then a few seconds later, just a slight tinge of lemongrass. Finish is astringent same as on ice. What a beautiful selection of bean in a small nook of a place. Now I know where to go for coffee after an eastern bonk. 😉 If you’re into funky coffee like me, drop by this Komunal space. Coffee up!

What a lovely place. Definitely the most "wow" café I've been to in Singapore in the past few years. Everything is just right—the cozy atmosphere, beautiful interior, relaxing music, amazing aroma, great coffee, delicious food, carefully selected furniture, and warm color palette. It's the kind of place where you can truly slow down and unwind.

Really cosy and cute spot, with friendly service :) stumbled upon this place while walking around, have already recommended to friends. Got the matcha latte and a lot of care was put into making it, and ingredients are really high quality.

I tried the iced chocolate, meatballs and sourdough, and the scones! They do warn you that the iced chocolate is on the bitter side because of the 72% cocoa, but i dont mind it! especially when eaten with the scones, it cuts the sweetness and is quite enjoyable. The scones were my favorite, they give 3 dips and all 3 are so unique! each bite tasted different with the different combinations of the three. on top of the blank canvas that the fluffy yet crispy, warm scone gives you, it was easily the best thing i ate here! The meatballs were also good, it feels like theres a hint of nuttiness or cheesiness in the meatball, it was quite interesting! Though i would likely try other things if i were to come back. Atmosphere is super peaceful and calm, nice place to slow down and unwind.
